but you have to give a detailed explanation of the plotline in the original post.

I, uh. Hm. I still don't really understand. Maybe if you had a more detailed plot behind the role play itself before you build on it?

Typically, like some have explained here, one adds a description in the first post so people can judge whether or not this is an interesting concept for an RP or not. By not explaining what's going on, or what's behind it all in some degree, it's hard for a person to judge it all.

TL;DR:
In this case, we can't really judge a book by it's cover (or an RP by its title).

 

Let me give you an idea for something you can add...

 

"DragonHope, an interdimensional traveller once stumbled upon a dimension in which the locals reacted in a hostile way to their presence.

After DragonHope defended herself, it only proved to provoke them even more.

As a last resort, she flees to another dimension - where Equestria is located - but her pursuers follows her there.

Now, Equestria needs YOU to fight for your homeland."

 

Just an example, not necessarily an amazing one, but it would have been way more inviting than just a link...

Unless your idea was to simulate the confusion of war by just throwing people at the RP with no information other than the first post, which could work, but then you'd still have to leave a note in the original post that what we need to know is there with the RP.

Also, applications will weed out good and bad OCs and RP'ers that might or might not fit the RP you're thinking of, as well as those who can't follow the rules.

Also, you might want to have a look at the way you post... I had a peek at what you had posted in the RP thread, and I suggest you have a peek at how others post (With quotations ("") and such when speaking and all that) as well as a little bit of grammar...

Your grammar is a little better than what I have seen in some others, but you're a wee bit rough around the edges, but I think with a little practice and concentration, you could do great~

 

And as a final bit of advice, which is about the final bit in your RP-post... When talking as yourself rather than the character you play as, like explaining things we might need to know, orders that will help move the RP along, like this line:

 

I'll let someone else be the one who helps me get back home

Then that is for this thread. This thread here would be to acquire people to join in on your RP, and to speak as yourself (Out Of Character, or OOC) when needed.
