Sinusoid shrugs, seeing that all of the others were doing something important, and continues to fight outside from a long distance. This time, he tries his untested frictional spell, and Fracture goes inside of the building after assuming what is about to happen. He magically rubs together the air particles surrounding a demon to the point in which the enormous friction created causes it to seem to combustionally evaporate, without any remains falling to the ground. As this continues, Fracture is watching, not knowing what to do, seeing that the smoke is imparing some of his allies' fighting, and he yells, "Sinu, lift the smoke; you're adding to it!" Sinusoid stops fighting for a moment, and produces a broad sonic wave that disperses the smoke immediately, then continues, thinking, "I am so creative with my limited magic."

Rave was having a delightful time fighting. He had a mad look on his face and was laughing as he cast his dark magic. He looked back to see if Hit's was safe. He then saw the other pegasus coming in fast, with a sword. He did not take long to think and threw himself in front of the pegasus, yelling. "Face the wrath of the Darkmanes" he yelled.

the pegasus dodged the arrow and vanished before she ran into Rave un known to everypony she was still there looking her victim in their eyes and brought her sword through their heart and they dropped to the ground with a thud. The pegasus reappeared on the building above. "that was fun We must do this again sometime, until them DEMONS you are to report back to base immediately for briefing." The Blue Pegasus said in a commanding voice.

"Yes ma'am General Raindrop."The demons said as they disappeared.

(the pony that died was Buzz.)

[Buzz 1,769]

Hits saw what had just happened and froze immediately. She just stood there as the last of the smoke vanished. She stood there as the demon ponies vanished. She stood there during the silence that followed. Then she started to walk towards him, then she started to gallop, then she was running, running as fast as her legs could carry her. She slid beside Buzz. "Buzz, Buzz. Wake up Buzz. This isn't funny." Hits said repeatedly, slapping his face, feeling for a pulse on his neck, putting her ear next to his mouth expecting to hear breath. But nothing."Wake up, please wake up. Don't go. Don't leave. Don't leave me again, please. WAKE UP ALREADY" Hits held Buzz's lifeless head in her hooves, resting her head on his, tears coming down her face like waterfalls.

Rave felt guilty for what had happened. He had not been able to stop the pegasus. He slowly approached Hits from behind, putting a hoof on her shoulder. "I am so, deeply sorry. I tried to stop that... that... monster.. but.... I am so sorry" he understood her pain and felt he had failed her. 

[Buzz 1,769]

Hits didn't notice Rave. Her entire focus was on trying to wake Buzz up, even though, deep inside her, she know he never would. "Wake up Buzz, please. You can't leave. What about your parents, Tackle, the twins, Kick, me. You can't leave us, you cant leave me. please, please....." She no longer had the strength to keep talking. Instead, she only cried.

Rave gave her a moment to talk with the deceased Buzz. After a while, he lied there beside her and put a hoof around her. "He can still be avenged" he said to her. "We must continue. We can't let his death have been in wane. We must make sure that his death had a purpose, a meaning".

Chain felt responsible as well and joined in with Rave and hits "I tried but I couldn't do it" he heard what Rave said "your right I will" he looked around at everypony else "we will make it so that no pony else will get killed by those monsters" Chain said being as serious as he could be. Banner also approached the ponies around Buzz "Rave...I know what happened, you know what happened but I think...as much as it pains me to say this, we should join forces again" she said then looked at Hits "do not let this hinder you, let this be motivation to keep going"

Sinusoid stops as he hears the evil sounding speech of the pony on top of the building, and the demons disappear. He looks around to see Hits crying, realizing what had happened to Buzz, and knowing that any hope for survival was gone several seconds after he was stabbed. His eyes also wet slightly, despite hardly knowing the victim, for the somewhat monumental consequences. He becomes very angry, plotting for revenge immediately. "Revenge will be creative... I will use all of the best ideas from my and Fracture's years of thought... I wonder if he still has the torture gun."

Dax watched from the alleyway.  He and Chaotic had only managed to arrive in time to see the aftermath of what had happened.  

 

They seem pretty shaken up about it... but wasn't he one of the ponies Rave spoke about?  One of those who'd driven him off?  Yet, he's upset - they all are - but Rave is upset?

 

He nodded, then turned to Chaotic.

 

"If he's reacting like this, then maybe he's not too far gone yet."

 

He motioned out toward the other ponies, indicating the whole group.

 

"You've gotta help them.  YOU have powers that I can't even imagine, much less use; help them."

[Scare Effect 312]

Fear watched the events unfold once Buzz hit the ground she knew he was dead she was then shocked as Scare walked passed her with a look that said rage. "Revenge is not needed we have to fight in order to prevent this from happening to somepony else." Scare said to everypony then turned to Hits,"and i will handle those monsters..." Scare collapsed due to her still being too weak.

"I agree petty revenge is not something Buzz would want." Fear said as she walked over to Scare and picked her up."Don't you think?"

"Okay Dax i will give them one chance." Chaotic said to Dax as she stepped out of the alley for everypony to see, She looked at them and sighed. as she waited for a reaction.

"I completely agree" Banner spoke up while Chain stayed silent "Scare I don't even think you should move right now" she said picking her off the ground. Chain lost in his own thoughts about plans to get back at those ponies that killed Buzz looked around and saw Chaotic just standing there "how are you?" Banner looked over "Chaotic? are you here to help?"

"Petty revenge? Like you know anything... Fear. You know nothing. It is not just about revenge, it is about justice and preventing more murders. Try to think outside the box for once instead of focusing on destroying the world". He then noticed Chaotic. "About time you showed yourself. Does even anypony have sense here?" he turns back to Fear. "How do I know you are not working with these mad ponies. HAH?".

"because I know she isn't" Banner spoke up "also she is doing this for justice, and for Scare, I know that we may not all agree but we cannot fight when we are the only ponies that can save equestria" Banner said not trying to threaten Rave because she knows what he can do. Chain didn't know what to make of this and just thought of recipes that could make good weapons

[Scare Effect 312]

"Banner is right," Scare said to Rave."and I trust her more than i trust you."

"Now Scare don't waste energy trying to talk to him his insults are just pathetic." Fear said to Scare.

" i came to offer my help but it seems no one wants it so i guess i will leave you be." Chaotic said as she walked up to Rave, "but first." Chaotic then hit Rave across the face.then vanished.

Rave immediately went into hostile mode. "I will kill every single one of you. I have had enough of you. Fear, you have the least right to talk you maniac, trying to blow up the world and then just suddenly 'oh look at me. I have completely changed'. You Scare, you clearly have no wits as you seem to have bumped your head. And I am going to hunt that little pegasus and strangle the life out of her. You can deal with this monster menace yourself. I am out. May this world be consumed and all of you little worthless gnats". With that, he shadowmorphed and flew away from the group.

Banner wish the others didn't do what they did "are you dumbasses?! I am sorry but if everypony is acting this hostile then I don't think this equestria even has a shot at living" she said then walked away from the group. Chain heard Banners outburst "your first impressions did not go well, I'm going with Banner" he starts walking with her

[Scare Effect 312]

"you are right Banner Equestria has no hope, but not because of hostility toward one another. but because they are too strong to fight yet and if shadow boy there believes he stands a fighting chance then it is his funeral." Fear said coldly."now would be a good time to get inside then i can fix Scare and none of you will see me again." Fear walked inside leaving everypony else outside.

"Sorry Banner all i did was say the truth i don't really know the guy so it is natural for me not to be very trusting at first right?" Scare said as she fell back to sleep.

Rave was on top of one of the tallest buildings in Manehattan. "Are you ready?" the dark voice in his head asked. "I AM. DO IT. I GIVE MYSELF COMPLETELY TO THE DARKNESS. Those ponies will the rue the day. They will all die. They are worthless. They are outsiders. They are weak here. They don't have the same strength. The power of my world stands with me. I will pay any price now to see their heads mounted". Immediately, a dark mist started to surround Rave. He felt a jolt of pain. He was being tortured. A painful process he was going through.

As the shadow zipped away, Dax followed it with his eyes.  When it came to rest atop the tallest building in the whole burg, he groaned.

 

It'll take forever to get there, he bemoaned, and besides, you don't even know what to say, do you?  You already messed up once - care to try for two?

 

Dax began to trot toward downtown, where all the tallest buildings resided.

 

Insane.  I.  Am.  In.  Sane.

 

He picked up speed, hoping he could catch the elevator... if not, it was a LOOOOOONG way up.

great more ponies leaving and less of a chance of these ponies in this equestria living...I want to leave but I cant, screw equestria if ponies want to act this way and not work together then...why am I even here? Banner thought she felt like she was losing herself. "Banner...I" "lets go" she started walking further and further away from the group her loyalty almost gone

As Fracture is away from all of the others, trying to salvage things from the destroyed parts of the guard post, Sinusoid continues to be optimistic; "Why are we fighting? I have difficulty seeing why we can't manage to work together without arguing several minutes later, and it's frankly stupid. Buzz here, he did not participate in this once... I apologize for being impulsive and confrentational earlier, but that can be amended; all of this can be amended... Revenge in this case is not petty; it is just." He stops, begins to walk to the destroyed building, and says, "I'm sorry; that was terrible." He appears to suddenly change his mind as Banner begins to walk away, and he turns again; "Nevermind; that was still better than what I've seen in the past few minutes. If I can contribute anything to this group, I will hold it together, so don't leave. DON'T DO IT."

"Banner please stop."Scare called out as Banner started to walk away."Don't go please,"

upon hearing this Fear appeared in front of Banner."you are not going any where. i made a promise and i will keep it, and i will not allow you to leave if i do i will be breaking it," Fear said looking Banner dead in the eye.

Chaotic watched the events unfold,come on choose the right thing because if you do i will do a bring back one pony but if you choose wrong another will die at the hands of the corrupted ones Chaotic thought

Banner looked strait back "what do I care about how dies?" "Banner that's enough, stop acting like this!" Chain yelled at Banner how was thinking about running and not coming back but she loved Chain like a brother so she wouldn't leave just yet "this isn't the Banner I know! you never give up especially on equestria" Chain started tearing up which got Banner to listen "fine...I just wish we won't die in the end" she was slowly thinking of better thoughts but all she could think of was there death by one of those ponies hooves, they included Rave "Scare, I'm sorry to make you worry" she started walking back

The sound of hooves echoed in the stairwell like hollow slaps against the ears.  The ragged breathing followed it like a shadow.

 

This... is... crazy... this... is... crazy... this... is... cra... zy...

 

Dax continued to pound his way up, hoping beyond hope that he could make it to the roof of the skyscraper before it was too late.
