"Yea, im still getting my head around all this teleporting stuff, and how a pagasus can do it." Hits said, wearing a cute face that had confusion written all over it. "Just stay still, it'll only get worse the more you move. Can somepony please get him some water, or something to drink at the least."

Buzz walked through the door, bow and arrow still in his hooves. "I don't think we have long before something realises we're her, so whatever your going to do, do it fast."

Rave was really tired... weary. He was really wounded, mostly by himself, both when he had woken up to see what he had done to himself and then.... the ones that he had now, the ones that he had after having woken up to find Hits near him, were.... new. Had he also done this to himself? What was going on. He was thinking heavily what was going on. "Am I going insane?" he thought to himself. He allowed Hits to support him, not fighting back, saying that he did not need help.

Fear walked into the building, "he is right we must get out of here soon the demons will be here any minute."Fear said looking out a window. "because we are too close to the villains head quarters to go unnoticed."

"so your Fear huh? you don't seem so bad." Scare suddenly says.

"good to see your awake." Fear said with a chuckle.

Buzz made a sound of disgust, seeming to be the only one that remembered what Fear had done just over a year ago. Keeping his bow aimed at the door, Buzz had a sudden thought. "If we can get Scare up and moving soon, we can get to the guard post. I can get us all armour and weapons, then we can see what's causing all this."

"Come on, your almost there" Hits encouraged Rave as he started to lift onto his legs. When standing, Hits let go of him, but stayed close in case he fell over. "Do you think you can walk?"

"lets go get out of here, we can plan an attack there better, unless its like last time where all we did was break in using Everest" she said picking Scare up from the bed on to the ground "maybe we can find a shop on the way that has things I can make into weapons" Chain said "that would be good, I kind of like this chain, maybe you can turn it into a wipe of some sorts" "that would be good, I'll think about it"

Sinusoid falls on top of the machine as he jumps in surprise, and Fracture quickly says to the clearly evil ponies "That's fine; we'll leave." Sinusoid stands after a few seconds and he two walk out of the building without another word from them, unlocking the door from the inside.

Once a decent distance away, Fracture says, "I'm quite surprised that they didn't do anything bad to us. Why did you go in there?... I'm supposed to be the bolder one, and..." He sighs; "WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! THAT WAS SO INCREDIBLY RECKLESS AND STUPID!"

Sinusoid replies with an incresingly annoyed tone, though his voice is still quivering. "It was definately worth it; there are demons everywhere, we needed to know how to destroy the machine, which I now have quite helpfully memorized the exterior of, and the window was already broken. IT WAS ALREADY BROKEN!" He then angrily picks up the broken pieces of the window with his magic and throws them at the ground next to him, one getting stuck in his flank. He wimpers slightly and says, "That was a TERRIBLE idea... Well, now I've gotten what I deserve, and I'm sorry for going into there and yelling at you... I forgot to say, I now have this." He pulls from a pocket the small magical power adapter that connected the device that was attached to Scare to the operating unit of the machine. "It was connected with only a standard metal latch, and it should be important to learning how to reverse the effect of the machine."

Fracture, originally too angry to respond, is now happy about this fact, but he looks at the device and says, "I'm still mad at you, but I'll admit that you're good at stealing things."

They enter the building with the others inside, and Sinusoid says timidly, hoping to gain some momentary attention, "Sorry about that... Do you see this?" He points at his flank, his white coat now heavily bloodstained; "I deserved it." He walks to a corner to sulk, not saying anything about what he had accomplished.

Fracture nears the group, quietly muttering without consideration, "Everyone should hate that compulsive idiot at some point or another."

"glad to see you guys alive...we need to head out soon, I don't know what happened between you but right now we have bigger problems, much bigger problems destruction of the world problems" Banner said the two how just got into the building "Banners really good at making ponies think about the big picture" Chain said to the others in the room except Fracture and Sinusoid

"Yes, I know that, and he should have. Luckily, I have something." Fracture says to to Banner, then yelling to Sinusoid, "Give me the transformer, you worthless, impulsive mistake." Sinusoid gives him the magical component, and says, sounding like he was crying, "You're angry much less often than I am, but when you are, you're brutal." Fracture holds it and explains, "This connected the device that was attached to Scare to the machine, most likely used to convert magical energy into electrical energy."

"lets go now. that component serves no purpose to us or them they don't need it any more so we better hurry before they realize something is missing." Fear said and left the building.

"she is right we need to get moving right away." Scare said in agreement

Fracture turns and throws the component at Sinusoid, hitting him in the head. "It seems that there was no point to your shameful act, and you did something stupid with no positive results; you even destroyed that window." He stands to leave as Sinusoid examines the transformer, knowing that it would be possible to reverse the physics of the portal; he would just need Fracture's help, soon if it were to have any effect.

Rave gave Hits a nod. "Yes. I can... walk... now" he started walking in a shaking manner. "Little Rave here needs help? Oh my. And I thought you were supposed to be a Darkmane? Maybe I should have possessed your brother instead. It is clear to me that his character is a lot more like mine. He is brutal, ruthless and REALLY STRONG. Want me to take over? I think it is time for you to take a time out". Rave's body began to shake, then he stopped. Rave's eyes looked completely black now except for the purple smoke that kept on leaking from his eyes. He started walking in a more sure manner, not looking back at Hits, as if having forgotten her and then started to walk in circles, no longer remembering where they were heading.

Sinusoid glances at Rave, preparing to talk, and notices his inability to accept help. "Something is causing him seroius problems, and he needs to stop." He thinks, still surprised at how corrupted he had become. "My only logical explanation for this would be that he is being posessed by dark magic, something that can be very dangerous and addictive." He stands, walks to the group, and says, "Rave is posessed; this must stop."

Fracture argues, "I think that we should let him kill himself with this."

"Rave? Are you sure your alight?" Hits asked, happy that he was able to walk, however concerned by the fact that in a brief few seconds he had changed his eyes into the type of eyes she had seen in her nightmares as a filly.  However, she knew she had seen those eyes before outside of her dreams. The question was though, where.

"Ok then" said Buzz, relived at the news that they could get out of the 'trap waiting to happen' of a building they were in. "But where too? I say we still go to the guard post, but i dont know if there will be much left there after the other guards have been there. Banners shop idea could work, but we don't know if we can find anything useful in the store we end up in. It's up to you Scare, unless you have somewhere better in mind?!"

"well I say anyplace that isn't here is great...I think I have another plan if the guard post does not work out, we go to the museum" Banner said to them "there is bound to be useful stuff in the exhibits, I know because that's one of the places I visited almost monthly, I bet no pony has thought of this in the city and also they had a ponies of the future exhibit there" she looked at Fracture "there are plenty of machines and ideas there if we try" "I may not be an inventor but I am a good worker with metal" Chain added

Fracture looks to Banner; "That seems to be a good idea. I've personally been there with the idiot, and there are definitely some things that could serve a useful purpose."

Sinusoid remembers that the piece of glass is still in his flank, and he pulls it out, winces, throws it on the ground angrily, and limps slightly to Fracture, timidly asking, "Could you please stop being mad at me?"

Fracture does not appear to notice, and hesitantly says, "Yes."

Sinusoid quickly hugs him, he turns, and Sinusoid begins to say as if nothing had happened, "This box here can be useful, if we were to reverse the polarization without changing the direction of the current; how could this be executed?"

"We would need to disassemble it, which should not be done here, as most of us want to leave... Does anyone object to going to the museum? There are some stores nearby which may also contain useful items."

Rave did not respond to Hits immediately. It was as if the name 'Rave' did not belong to him. After a minute, he turned his head as if realizing she meant him. "I am quite ok". Rave was still heavily wounded, however, the wounds did not seem to be taking a toll on him now. "Let us get off this roof and find us some ponies to eat--- I mean talk to, hehe". Rave saw a ladder down, off the roof. "Over here Hits, we can go down from here".

Fear stood outside looking to see if anymore monsters were around, when her scan turned up nothing she checked on the others, hearing the suggestion to go to the museum,"I have an objection to that Idea, we need help and i believe the best place to look is the guard post. also that piece of junk has no use since the portal closed hours ago." Fear said in a stern voice pointing where the portal used to be, "but we will keep the museum idea for later. okay."  Fear looked at the others seeing if they will respond.

Chaotic sat down next to Dax,"the things happening today left everypony confused hasn't it." Chaotic said to Dax.

Sinusoid irritatedly sighs at Fear's comment; "We all have noticed that; I'm talking about reopening the portal and inverting its physics by reversing the polaration, pulling at least a moderately effective number of the demons back into their own dimension. Actually, if I were to have taken this while the portal was still open, the machine would cease to operate and the portal would close."

"that will only work if you have a suitable power source which frankly we don't have, you know what i don't care try to do what ever you want just telling you it won't work, anyway we better get moving." Fear said calmly as she walked out the building. "I'm not here to save the city but to keep my promise, and these imbeciles are seriously misguided." Fear said under her breath as she walked out.

"Fear is kinda right the only way to power it is to have somepony with extreme magical energy to power it. and i don't think it will use common magic tartarus i don't think dark magic will work either." Scare said to the others, still too weak to move.

Buzz started to hear noises coming from the corridor. As he poked his upper body out to take a look he saw a dozen shadows at the end of the hallway, each getting closer. Buzz quietly returned to the room. "Guys, we need Scare mobile in the next twenty second or we are going to facing a lot of heat with hardly any hooves."

Hits approached the ladder, a little less scared of Rave than she was when she first saw him. she got on the ladders and took two steps down them. She then proceeded to put her hooves on the very sides of the ladder and slide down instead of taking the traditional way down."Weeeeeeeeeee" Hits screamed as she went down, thinking this was a roller-coaster ride. As she reached the floor, she attempted to slow down enough to come to a halt. This didn't happen. She had slowed down enough to not suffer major injury, but still managed to hit her flank on the ground. "Ouch" she let out, only loud enough for Rave to hear.

Rave chuckled a bit. Instead of going down with the ladder, he shadowmorphed and flew down. He landed on his feet, morphing back to normal... or as normal as he could look. He did not seem drained like he did before when he had done it. He extended a hoof to Hits to help her up.

After being told so many times that his idea would not work, Sinusoid is even more determined to prove that he is right. He begins to assemble ideas; "I know factually that this transformer can be modified to accept different kinds of input, based on its general construction. The machine took most of Scare's energy, meaning that it could be operated with the potential energy stored inside of only one pony, regardless of absolute power or even power fed from others, without killing them. The maximum amout of this power that any pony could hold is effectively under that of a small nuclear reaction or... several bolts of lightning!" His eyes widen at this sudden idea, and he begins to talk faster; "Lightning is generated by clouds, usually cumulonimbus, with a negative electrical charge at the base and a positive charge at top. When these charges are pulled together, they create an electical circuit and lightning flashes. If a pegasus were to move the clouds into position and a unicorn arranges the particles, enough lightning could be generated to easily power the machine." Realizing that the others would probably say that his idea is wrong again, he turns to check his work.

Fracture is simultanously thinking of how to make Scare mobile, and waits for Sinusoid to finish, then says to Fear and Scare collectively, "That idea would most likely work; though it might not be what you have already planned, other ponies are also capable of saving Equestria in the more fundamental aspects; you are not the only important ones. Last year was a major blow to my self-esteem, and you should know what I'm talking about." His tone lightens; "Now, without the proper time for anything else, Scare would need to be carried."

Dax looked over at Chaotic, and nodded sullenly.  He glanced around a bit, then gave a heavy sigh as he stood up.

 

"I take it that other pony was okay, then?  I hope so."

 

He tried to think.  Mistakes notwithstanding, there were bigger bales of hay; the town was a mess, and the sounds of violence assaulted his ears.

 

"Okay so," he said to Chaotic as he wiped his face, "what do we do now?  What can we do?  There's gotta be something..."

Fear stood outside completely ignoring Sinusoid's stupid and inaccurate theory, hearing what Buzz said Fear walked back inside picked Scare Back up and looked at the two ponies trying to prove her wrong. "I have no intention on being a hero, now stop trying to prove me wrong i have more experience with machine just like that one and what you said would still not be enough energy. now if you argue back with another explanation i will rip out your tongue."Fear said her eyes dimly glowing red to solidify the threat."lets go now before the monsters get in here," with that she left walking toward the guard post.

"I need my tounge likely more than all of you; if you rip it out, I will... Nevermind, I forgot that you are invincible." Sinusoid sighs, and timidly says, "I would just like to feel that my ideas are good, and that my efforts are worthwhile." He stops, thinks for a moment, and decides to no longer be confrontational, as he was made angry by his recent bad decision; "Though you and Scare are anomalies, defying the laws of physics in a way that I have never observed before, I believe that if you explain the things that I am wrong about instead of threatening and arguing with me, I will be able to help." He attempts to smile, but gives up.
