Rave blushed a bit as well as he realized she had called herself his special somepony, something he had been dreaming of hearing her say. "What can I say, just helping you exercise a bit on land. You have been so much on sea" he gave her a teasing look. He looked up ahead then. "I hope we are almost there".

Tyra grinned widely at the site of snow. Something she had not laid eyes on for quite some time; not since she was last at home, actually.

 

The crunching beneath her hooves made her bare her teeth in her grin, unable to contain herself.

"It has been so long since I felt cold wind and snow blowing against me," she chirped to anypony listening, "I am really glad we decided to walk!"

Caramel gave Rave a big smirk before grabbing some snow in her hoof, throwing some of the cold powder on his back. "Watch it mister." She said with sticking out her tongue. The insecure thoughts and worries had left Caramel mind as there was now a big smile on her face. 

 

"Alright, if my prison mare was correct, the cave should be right ahead. We can make camp and fire once we're there." Caramel said as she turned around to face the rest of the crew. "We're almost there everyone, just a few more steps, you can do it!" Caramel cheered as she could see some of them looking very tired.

Rave felt the cold snow chill his spines. "You just did that, didn't you?" he laughed, sticking out his tongue himself. He then listened to Caramel's statement. "Aye, we will be warm and safe from the weather and her natural dangers that follow. We can do it, I know we can".

Aqua giggled after Caramel threw the snowball at Rave. She trotted up to Caramel's side, her mane bouncing a bit with the seashells and the seastars bouncing in her mane.

 

Aqua still had a snowball in her hoof. She snorted at the thought of her throwing it at anypony.

"Good evening Miss Splash." Caramel said, greeting Aqua with a smile. "How are ye holding up? I can imagine walking through snow is something quite different from swimming in the sea. A lot less cold for instance." Caramel said curious to Aqua as she seemed a very interesting. pony...mermaid??...seapony??

Scarlett let out a sarcastic sigh "Lordy, I'm me."

 

She casts a weight spell on the items on Lordy's back "If we were closer to the sea I could have just send the items back to my house." She levitated a couple of items and put them on her back "Hope the weight spell helps"

Tyra snickered as Caramel poured snow on Rave, and noticed Aqua was holding a snowball.

 

She smirked. Snowball fights were a very common game back home; one where she was undefeated as a filly. Until her brother got involved. She hadn't forgiven him for weeks.

 

She rolled up a snowball, and gently lobbed it at the seapony, not intending to hurt her.

"Yeah... i presume.... but still, one must not break the coade.... i mean, its all i have left. And by the code... you are still a mare."

 

the load was lighter... how? He did not know, but he knew it  was the magic.

Aqua clamped her mouth shut from correcting her about her full name. "Evening tides to you Captain." Aqua greeted back, returning the smile.

"It is very different, it's nearly as cold as the freezing seas." Aqua remarked while shivering for emphasis. She then giggled to herself.

Aqua let out a squeak when the snowball hit her in the back. She shivered and then started to snicker. She whirled herself around and thrust a snowball right back at Tyra.

Wade smiled as he followed the group from behind.

 

'It's such a nice atmosphere to be in, everyone enjoying themselves as friends. It's truly nice. I shouldn't get too comfortable with them though, this is a business relationship for mutually beneficial purposes. Once we're done, I'll have to return to Canterlot and report everything I discovered out here. It seems like I'd make enemies either way. Anger the government and have charges pressed against me, but protect the secrets I may discover from these people. Or betray the trust I may be given here for the sake of the people in government territory, and the advancement of society. I still have a long time to make a choice. Maybe it won't even be a dilemma by the time I have to cross that bridge. One can only hope of course.'

"Oh, we sometimes had 320 ponies organised for some of those... kept the morale up. and we usually won. I dont... know... but we could get involved..."

"Alright kids, fun is over. We're here!" Caramel said as she looked at Aqua and Tyra who were throwing snowballs at each other. Caramel pointed at the cave, to make clear where they were heading before stepping inside. The cold wind was no where to be found, luckily. "Finally. we're here!''

Aqua was giggling and looked at Caramel. "Aww.... Okay.." Aqua said with a sarcastic sad tone. She dropped another snowball she was about to throw at Tyra. Her eyes flickered towards the cave, which they were now entering. It went from cold wind to not so windy when Aqua stepped inside.

 

"Yay! We're here!" Aqua cheered.

Scarlett eeps and teleports into the cave dropping off her stuff, before teleporting into the center of everyone without any of her personal effects and saying "I'll be right back."

 

She dissapears in teleportation magic, before reappearing a few seconds later with hot chocolate "I needed to use my magic, so I thought why not buy some hot chocolate while in Las Pegasus."

"Aww!" Tyra whined, but still had a grin on her face while she was covered in snow.

 

She shook herself off and trotted up to Aqua.

"That was most fun!" She chirped, grinning widely up to the seapony, "We must do it again soon!"

 

The cold climate hadn't fazed her at all; since she was a native to the Frozen North, her thick coat easily shielded her from it.

"Can't say no to that." Caramel said as she put down her bags ....well my bag and Rave's bag..  before grabbing a cup of hot coco. She grabbed a small blanket out of her bag, wrapping herself inside before sitting down, starting to sip from her drink. She looked at the others  with a smile as they walked inside.

Once they reached the cave, lordy dropped his stuff and opened his backpack. he then rolled out a big greycoat. He put it over his red uniform and tightened it with a belt. It had long sleeve and the end reached the end of his backhooves. He also tok out some brown eather gloves and put themon, followed by a more fluffy shako. His bag was absolutely fiulled with stuff, used in different situatiuons. After he finished he put the bag back on. 

"Marvelous... now, if i may ask? what do we do?"

Scarlett handed out the mugs of Hot Chocolate to everypony before saying "Oh dear, I think I forgot to pay."

 

She grabbed a hoof full of bits and teleported, before returning a moment later saying "Done. Did you know they make pancakes? I know where I'm teleporting for my morning magic stretch.

Rave accepted the hot chocolate, but did not like that idea of Scarlett's to be teleporting like that. He started drinking the coco, liking the taste. He also levitated his saddlebag from Caramel to himself. He had meant for her to get a bit warmer by carrying it, but now that they were covered from the natural weather, they were warmer, so there was no need for her to be carrying it.

'How long can she teleport' he asked himself

 

Lordy took one of the mugs

 

"I am very thankful." he said and smiled, he was pretty cold. Even if he just put his winter gear on, it would take time until they warmed him up. A hot drink would be perfect now.

"Absolutely sublime..."

Tyra accepted the mug, looking at it curiously. "This is the fabled 'hot coco'...?" She murmured.

She sniffed at the steamy mug for a moment, then stuck her tongue in it.

 

"It is quite hot, but not uncomfortably so," she deduced, then put on a crooked grin, "sweet too!"

She began sipping it happily. "My thanks, Scarlett!" She chirped.

Aqua laughed while wiping some snow off of herself. Aqua gave Tyra a huge friendly smile. "Indeed we shall!" Aqua agreeed, still giggling. Aqua didn't really mind the cold too much. She had went to the freezing seas during her merlhood.

 

"I look forward to future snowball battles with you." Aqua teased, sticking her tongue out.

 

"Hot coco?" Aqua asked curiously, taking a sip. Her pupils dilated and she slurped more down. "This is fintastic!" Aqua chirped.
