Caramel looked around, looking for a clock or something that showed time. "Almost 10;30, darn it! Scarlett, get the food to go, we gotta run! Train leaves in 10 minutes!" Caramel said jumping out of her seat, running straight to the hotel. She almost crashed into Rave if she hadn't seen him in time. "Rave we gotta move, train leaves in 10 minutes and I'm not gonna wait another hour. I'm gonna go wake Violet, you go ahead with the others." Caramel said almost out of breath before running upstairs to Violet's room.

Rave was a bit confused, but understood immediately as she mentioned a train. He knew that all trains in Equestria ran on a tight schedule. "Alright, I will meet you at the train station" he called after her. He started running towards the train station, hoping to meet the others there.

Tyra suddenly perked up at Caramel's frantic order, and nodded.

"Aye, the train station!" She yelled, hopping out of her chair and sprinting out the door.

 

She skidded to a halt outside and looked in any direction she could run.

"...which way is the train station?" She mumbled to herself. She trotted to a street map and read it. "Aye, of course..."

 

With the directions memorised, she darted off.

When she arrived at the strain station, she noticed a familiar face waiting there, and grinned ear to ear as she sprinted toward its owner.

"Rave!" She squeaked, practically glomping the poor stallion into a tight hug, "I had heard you were here, but I was yet to see you for myself! How have toy been, my friend?!"

"Rave we gotta move, train leaves in 10 minutes and I'm not gonna wait another hour. I'm gonna go wake Violet, you go ahead with the others." Caramel said almost out of breath before running upstairs to Violet's room.

Scarlett stays silent, orders even more food, pays up and stands there amongst the chaos. She opens up a portal beside her and side steps onto the train station's station area where she bought the tickets and sat down to wait for the others. "Maybe I should go and help them."

Rave turns as he hears Tyra calling him. His ears flop down and his pupils grow a bit bigger. "Oh no.....". He is then glomped and hugged tightly. "Hnnngghh, I have---- been---- fine---- Tyra----. Nice---to--- agh--- see you---- again--- hehe" he was practically fighting for air as she was hugging him so tightly. He thought it was awesome to see the others again, but he wanted to at least live through it.

"Well, that escalated quickly. I'm not use to this pace of life. I hope I grow accustomed too it soon. Train Station, train station..." He tried to visualise the location in his head in order to make a good teleportation spell, it wasn't far, but far enough to challenge his longest teleportation distance. "Here goes nothing." He teleported to the train station, landing only a few feet from the entrance. "That went better than expected. Now do I have everything. Guns yes, bullets and powder yes, crossbow and bolts yes, painkillers. Reluctantly, yes. Hopefully I won't die from hugs before I get my books. Death by 1000 cuddles, that's something I wouldn't mind on my tombstone." He walked into the station, trying to locate anyone from the crew.

Caramel nocked on the door to Violet's room "Violet, would you please open the door, the train leaves in 5 minutes, we gotta get moving! Violet?" Caramel yelled while banging the door. There was no response and she had to act quickly so Caramel bucked open the door. Violet was still sleeping. "Woh, Yer a good sleeper if that didn't wake ye up." Caramel said while lifting violet on her back. "Lets go!" Caramel cheered as she ran out the hotel towards to the train station.

But the sound that is produced by another object, example, my voice, the sounds made by it travel and rebound off of you. Unless you become a phantom capable of phasing through reality itself and avoiding all collision with the world; then you will become invisible even to me. In other words, I see sound. No tech nor magic in existence can hide anything from me." Finishing his little explanation of his abilities; Wade had a rather proud look on his face, and a rather smug grin. "Sure. You find Caramel, I'll keep an eye on these. Make sure they don't get into trouble and so we don't lose them."

Tyra continued to hug Rave tight, before finally letting him go and standing up.

"Has Caramel seen you yet?" She chirped, hopping in place, "She would be most happy to see you!"

 

She turned and grinned as Wade and Scarlett approached them. "Now we simply wait for Violet and Caramel, yes?"

Rave gave out a gasp and sucked in a lot of air. He then checked himself out, to see if any ribs were broken. He then looked back at Tyra. "Yes, I met with her this night. We had rather close.... interactions. It is great to see you. All of you. I have missed our adventures".

"You do realise that now that you've said that I'm going to repair this suit and find a way to make myself invisible from you" Scarlett says while smirking and began scanning the area for Caramel with her magic. "And anyway, even though you can see me when I'm invisible you didn't seem surprised that I could go invisible. Why was that?"

"That's a good challenge. If you can make yourself invisible to me, you've pretty much made yourself invisible to nearly everything. I don't know what contacts you have, but I'm going to let you in on a secret from the ministry. Recently in my department on advancements of Magic and Technology, we have discovered an effective way to combined magical energy fused within crystal catalysts and our early model whole body suits, to refract light around a body, granting invisibility when motionless. And near invisibility while on motion. Like I said, these are our prototypes, and I don't know what connections you may have. But I'm presuming that you have means of getting our tech and modifying it. Your model and our model are very similar. Or I could go with the simple solution and say you have invisibility spells. That kind of magic exists, but is just not common."

The sound of the train could be heard in the distance, it was almost at the station but Caramel still not there. Violet was hard to carry, making Caramel slow down. "Come on violet! Wake up! We're gonna be late and miss the train." Caramel say while trying to walk faster,

 

The train arrived at the station, only a few minutes left before it was going to leave. "Guys! I need some help over here!" Caramel yelled hoping the others would hear her.

Tyra perked up at Caramel's call for help, and saw her struggling to carry Violet to the train.

She sprinted over to her side. "Allow me, friend!"

 

With little effort, she hoisted the pegasus onto her own back, and trotted toward the train with little trouble. She certainly felt her weight, but it was not that difficult.

Wade had a plan to help out his new friends in his own way. As it was, they would miss the train. But he could do something about that. He got on the train and went to speak with the driver. "Listen driver. I'm on government business, and my associates are running late. Delay the train for a short time for them to arrive. Then you can leave. Okay?"

 

Driver: "5 minutes. No more."

 

"Thank you sir."

When Wade came back outside of the train Scarlett said "You know, just asking me to slow time in a localized field would have been much easier."

 

Before Wade had a chance to question what Scarlett had said she walked away to Tyra and cast a weightless spell "That may help a little"

Caramel finally arrived at the train with the help of Tyra. She stopped for a bit as she was out of breath. "Thank....celestia...we...made it." She said between breathing. "Alright...lets get..going." Caramel said as she got on the train. She quickly found place as the train was pretty much empty, still exhausted, she crashed into her seat.

With Caramel and Scarlett's assistance, Tyra got Violet onto the train. She grinned and plopped her on a seat, before hopping into the chair behind Caramel. She would sit next to her, but she figured Rave would want that seat.

 

"This shall be a fun journey," She chirped, looking out the window like an excited filly, "I wonder what Vanhoover will be like!"

Scarlett went and say down on the train on an empty seat over from Tyra and said to anyone who was listening "Seats are boring" before performing a gravity spell and sitting down on the ceiling. "Much better" she says, "Much much better. Ceilings are cool."

Wade walked into the carriage that everyone was inside and the first thing that came to his attention was at how empty it was in comparison to the numbers outside. Next strange thing, Scarlett was on the ceiling. 'Don't question it Wade. Don't question it.' He took his seat away from the group, and a small detail caught his ears. They are still missing two ponies. Lordy and Rave. "I don't know if any of you realise this, but Lordy and Rave aren't here. The train will only wait another minute. It's already slightly late as it is. If they don't get here, they'll have to take the next train in an hour."

Rave was standing near Wade. "Speak of the devil" he said grinning. "I wouldn't have missed it and Lordy is already on board the train. Now then, if we have gotten that confusion out of the way, I will take my seat" he took the seat next to Caramel and sat down.

'I guess even my senses can be wrong every so often. I need to condition myself some more. Make my senses even more acute.' "Well everyone is here now. Get comfortable. The train will leave in a minute. It's been forever since I left this city. It'll be good to see other places again."
