Are there truely Aliens out there?

The universe is truly massive (that's what she said) so, I'm rather sure that there are other (possibly more advanced) alien civilizations out there. I wonder if they know about Humanity?

The universe is way too vast for there to not be, microbes have already been discovered on other planets and some earth like planets have even been discovered though they are too far away to get to with our current technology. There is a strong possibility of there being intelligent life both more advanced as well as some perhaps more primitive than us, for all we know intelligent life forms may in fact have been trying to make contact with us, they may even have already do so (aliens or not they are clearly hiding something big at Area 51). We also know that though Einsteins theory of relativity that there is evidence that it may in fact be possible to use wormholes to warp space in order to travel to distant parts of the universe in much much shorter times than we currently can.

I firmly believe there is life out there, and not just little organisms or plants, but actual intelligent life forms with their own civilizations. The universe itself is quite huge, and the thought of Earth being the only planet with civilization would sound lonely... and depressing. Think about it.: there might be another world out there billions of light years away where some of its inhabitants are on their own website dedicated to a kids' cartoon show wondering if there's life outside their planet. Wouldn't you say that sounds cool?

Sounds like inception, actually xD

As far I know, Christianity says nothing one way or another concerning life outside Earth. Either way, I don't think it is incompatible with the Christian faith.

What exactly it would mean from a theological perspective is unknown, though. I guess one could say that either the other life did not fall from grace or that redemption was also applied for them.

The outer world beings might find a liking to one of our Faiths on Earth.

So I think that life is common in the universe, but intelligent life is very rare.

It's found 1 in every million star systems, it would be so interesting to discover if ever it were to occur.

Or we could be the subject of being the ones too far out of grasp to contact life forms who have ventured further into Space and who have set down on other life forms planets. For all we know there could be colonies out there all working together and improving amongst themselves. They could've very well have spotted our Planet/Solar System but saw no value to invest on traveling here since we have little to no great value when it comes to Space.

I'd be darned if there wasn't. Who knows how many trillions of billions of millions how far away the closest other planet besides Earth with life there is out there though. :maud:

We should hope that there is not, at least in this galaxy.  Look at how long we have been "intelligent" and place it on the geological time scale.  The odds are any actual alien we met who was at all worth talking to would be so far above us that it would not be funny.  Thing is such a race would likely have colonized the entire galaxy, and that we haven't run into them is a good sign that they aren't there.

Other galaxies?  Maybe.  This assumes that crossing the void between galaxies is impractical even for a type 3 civilization.  Other dimensions?  Possibly.

Is there actual Intelligent life out there in the vastness of Space? I'd like to believe so and their are plenty around the world who would like to believe so too. If you have anything to share regarding the possibility of Alien life then please share it with us here.

If we found life, who's to say they're anything as powerful as we tend to make them out to be. What if they're at a stage similar to we were in our primal year but without the luck and fortunate way through life that we managed to sustain. They could've had a tropical then suddenly hit a hard winter for the next thousand years. What if they didn't discover fire and what if they used an alternate means to fire that is unknown to Earth. The possibilities are endless and what we could find has endless possibility also.

I think we'll find life on another planet but in the form of micro-organisms. Nothing on the scale and fortunate luck we've had with Earths very special climate. I believe they'll be strong, resistant and have many immunities to living in a less advantaged climate to Earths. I feel Earth is the Easy Life forms way of life and it's Easy to breed life on Earth in comparison to a planet with less to sustain life.

Please share your Alien stories, pictures, theories, experiences and videos for all to see!

I'd like to believe that there's something out there. If they're more powerful than us technology wise and war hungry, then we're no doubt screwed.

But, they might just be friendly and have worse technology than us. Who knows?

Be interesting if there was something out there, though.

Oh, I don't see how there couldn't be aliens, seeing as how all evidence points to an infinite universe, and probably and infinite multiverse.  Given that, we should expect that everything that's physically possible is in fact actual somewhere.

I've no doubt that there's intelligent life somewhere out there. The universe is just too massive for there not to be.

Whether we'll ever meet them or if they've ever come to Earth, that's another question entirely.

Friendship isn't always easy. But it's definitely worth fighting for.

The current creatures from beyond earth that we know off have roots on our planet.
There are jellyfish that did reproduce outside of earth, hence they are aliens as they are born beyond earth. This was part of an experiment, they did adapt (evolve) to weightlessness.

As of now, we have no data of life on other planets.
But it is very likely that life does exist outside there. But there is also the fermi paradox.

So in short: We do not know wether they do exist or don't. But it is very reasonable to believe there is.

The visible universe is so vast that it's beyond what we human can really understand. We can describe it with numbers. The order magnitude is 10^10 light years with one light year approx 10^13 km. The number of stars in the visible universe is also way to big to have a true understanding of. For some years we are now able to discover Exoplantes in other solar systems. So we know these are exist. Even if the chance for developing life is very very very tiny, if you have so many places where it could happen, eventually if will happen more than once.

This being said, the true question is here, what kind of life we are talking about. From bacteria to something like humans, everything could be possible. By these vast numbers most likely also some higher lifeforms would be possible. Next question would be, do we really want to meet them. I don't think they would be friendly.

So short answer:  “The universe is a pretty big place. If it's just us, seems like an awful waste of space.”

I feel like there could be living organisms outside our planet or solar system. Mostly likely bacteria or small microbes. There could be smarter organisms, but in my opinion. This is unlikely.
