I am not hindering you from RPing, i am trying to make you make your mind wide and not tunnel-visioned on the 'only' class and 'only' place where RPs can be made from what you percieve it as. You can... I'll list some. 1. Roam the corridors finding other teachers or talking to NPCs controlled by one of the gms. 2. tell something about your classroom or area of your classes, not that important however. 3. You can start up a roleplay with another teacher by finding them... And these are not the only things you can do. You just gotta open your mind abit in this situation. (even i cant roleplay until my day has come as you say so i'm being unfair to myself and i did that on purpose that time.)

Nice one. Ours deals with magic as applied to engineering, though.

 

I actually have to agree with Star and Orchre here. Biology was a class in my HS as well, and is important for medicine. The bone setting example is good. Just "you are healed" isn't gonna fly with me either.

I'm not mad, nor do I want to attack your subject. Since it is your subject, can you maybe push for giving up maybe your Friday class? That way biology can take it over? Then all we'd have to do is find a slot for anatomy. That's completely even, each science gets 2 classes. Who gives a crap if it's unrealistic to have 3 sciences. To be honest, it should be based off of what works best for the roleplayers. We have 3 scientists, that's just how it is.

Hey, guys. I know I might be the only one, but... I'm not here to RP to learn things. My RPing involves stress relief, having fun, jotting down some ideas in cooperation with other people. Sometimes, RPs don't make sense. I mean, whoever heard of a bunch of ponies attending a high school? And because of the lack of human sense involved in the very foundation of the RP, I don't think we should be bothering to argue about which classes are important or not (that's what I understood from the discussion, at least). I mean, maybe ponies have a better sense about their own biology then humans do, but need to catch up more on how electronics work and how to present scientific theories--because, let's be honest, how much science do we see in the show? Maybe Princess Celestia wants to modernize Equestria!

 

I mean, I don't really care, is what I'm trying to say, and am just trying to present a different point of view. I don't know whether you were around for the last RP, Star-Lord--I wasn't, I just know Red, who was--and I know that a group of individuals worked hard to make this RP come to life again. I say we put aside the strange, not entirely human system of schooling and try and RP through it.

 

That's my money's worth. Uh, yeah. Sorry if I offended anyone. I just hate seeing arguing without me in it.

Nah... You kinda are. Classes are a teachers main purpose, and giving certain teachers more classes only on your perception of what you think are important classes, is unfair.

 

Why should I have to roam the halls in search for Roleplay when others are having it come straight to them 3 days to my 1 day?

In my eyes i'm not wrong, and i'm not right either. Also it is not up to me at that point aswell as i dont want to take any part in the schedule more than i have. I wrote the first schedule and the others edited it from that part, i wont and dont want a say in anything that happens with it more than what has already been done with them. I will only talk about it.

@, Another thing i have to say. I can't answer an answer straight up like i want. I've never been able to, i have this problem in school and is the reason i cant get the highest score in my subjects. So i'm just saying, if i give you an answer outside of the roleplay it wont be what i mean or what i wanted to say as i am unable to tell it with a straight face in real life and starts making more non-sense when i do.

Hey Um.. can we give some of the other students a chance to respond before we figure the puzzle out... I mean I and or Orchard could probably figure it out but I don't think it would be fair to others not here. For instance you r last post left a very big clue. At least I think it did

I don't know why I chose anatomy in the first place. I'm not sure if biology was already chosen, but that's Anna's specialty. The idea orginally was that since she was a professor, and she learned so much in college, she could function as a teacher in something other than biology. But don't forget that Anna is a biologist, once a biology professor too.

 

The biology holder hasnt posted or done much, as far as I'm concerned. Not that it's a problem, but maybe I should PM him and ask if he minds trading classes. Before I didn't think Anna could handle it because of her baby, but I think that if she drinks enough coffee, it'll be no challenge

So you're giving up then? But really all you had to do was find evidence in the room. In the original RP people were really clever with magic aura reading.

I had tried to get more people involved but things just sort of fell apart and too be fair I think you said you didn't want some one magicing their way out, then again that was early in the test. Also is magic really the only way we can figure this out?

I meant that she knows Sparky cause she's been doing things (supposedly) early before the year started. Sparky would stay away from everyone really.

 

 

Um, Lektra was homeschooled. Also Canterlot High just opened.

Lektra's picture was in the row dedicated for the faculty, I.E. teachers, and also, we're in a reboot, Canterlot High as an RP location has literally existed previously, to say nothing of how a school can be prestigious without having at least one prior year of existence.

 

I hate to be aping Star-Lord's words, but I've GMed in the past before, and when a player comes up with a unique but also logical solution to a puzzle that doesn't match the pre-written solution, you let them have it, you reward people being clever, not people reading minds to figure out what you want.

What are you talking about let people have it? It's been established by us it's a new school with no previous graduates, and there wouldn't be a picture like that except in the faculty lounge.

Need another GM to chime in here.

Lektra is still a new hire though this year and has been home schooled. I'm keeping her history intact for the most part. I wanna give it to you Ochre, but I'd have to contradict her background heavily for it to work. Ideas guys?

Idea 1) I can edit it to being a staff photo that was near the school office, something that could have been already put in place at the beginning of the school year.

 

Idea 2) As someone who also has Asperger's syndrome, I know how hard it can be to be flexible to a sudden change, but for the sake of a few roleplays, I've conceded minor points in my OC's if it made for better storytelling.
