gaming Hardest COD on Veteran?

For me, probably World at War with the infinite grenades or Call of Duty 2 mission "The Silo". Clearing out the buildings was hell, especially with the useless friendly AI.

I've beaten every COD game (from COD4 onward) on veteran except for World at War, so suffice to say World at War is bar-none the hardest. The grenade spam is relentless. The game's friendly AI is as inept as a box of rocks, so you have almost no support. As for the games I've beaten, I'd say the hardest was probably Black Ops 1. It's tough but doable.

I haven't played any game before MW1 (CoD 4) so I can't speak for those but for me World at War takes this easily. In all other games your health goes back to normal so fast and it's not that hard really but in waw everything is always so dark and it's hard to see the people you need to shoot, what makes it even harder is as already said the damn grenades that are thrown all over the place

I'd say definitely World at War with the enemies endless supply of granades and two shot kill rifles. I'd say Call of Duty 4 is the second hardest with the wasteland level and Mile High Club. The ones after that were pretty easy to be honest. I did find it a little frustrating on Black Ops though, when you have you knife the napalm barrels with endless spawning soldiers xD

I always hated how the game would endlessly spawn enemies unless you move up.

I am the same as you AC/DC Freak, I find World at War and COD 2 to have the hardest veteran campaigns. I actually was able to beat WaW on veteran and that...was a nightmare. It is amazing how horribly designed that game is on that mode, most of the time enemies just respawned until you got to a certain point. Completing the last level though, that was glorious.

I think the hardest COD on veteran was Modern Warfare 3....since this was the only CoD i played on veteran. The main missions were either bugged for me or just that BS but I remember I would die from one stray bullet....ONE STRAY BULLET EVERY TIME. Plus the special Ops missions were totally unfair since the enemy AI always went after you then your partner. If you solo'd them, they would one shot you with shotguns.

The only CoD game I've beaten on Veteran is Modern Warfare 2. So, I'm gonna say Modern Warfare 2.
