Enzo leaned over and put an eye to the freshly cut hole. Seeing flat ground, he ignited his horn and teleported out of the dome. Reappearing and expecting to land on his hooves, the silver pony instead found himself stumbling forward. Trying to correct his balance, he felt a sharp pain in his foreleg.

"You're injured from the spectra syringe"

*Flashback to Darkly landing the needle on Enzo's foreleg*

"Right"

Using Khris's tassel ad a makeshift bandage, he limped over to Crescent, caution in his steps: He sees no reason to trust Crescent, but he owes him a thank you. Meanwhile, Khris's watchful eyes were open on a lookout for cyborg ponies.

"Thank you for the rescue. By the way, the dome is made of roots."

Enzo eyed his makeshift shield of roots, an eyebrow raised.

"It's meant to withstand blunt force, not precise cuts. I'm surprised you had some difficulty cutting through it. Perhaps some concrete got trapped between the gaps"

cresent got up a little shaking, doing his best to ignore his protesting ribs "don't...mention....it....I think...this makes....us even" he said about to turn and walk then stopped himself half turning

"actually," he began to wonder again if the stag could actually help his hunt, worth a shot

"meet me...at the...19th street...hotel...later...I have....a way to...really even things" he then began to trot back to his hotel trying to remember where the place was and hoped nothing crashed into it or like wise

"A way to really even things?"

"If that cyborg vigilante wanted to attack us, she would have done so by now."

Khris noticed the Thestral's pain.

"He and you are both in a really bad shape now. Find a safe place to patch ourselves up."

Wordlessly agreeing, the stag trotted after the batpony. Around him, sirens wailed, emergency services scrambled to address the damage. The stag wordlessly watched as a pony was loaded into a medical carriage, his entire side bandaged up.

"This shouldn't have happened..."

Sighing, Enzo continued his trot. A large carriage with a red cross emblazoned on it's side hurtled to a stop beside him. Voices called out and orders were given. Ponies scrambled towards it to unload medical supplies of all kinds.

"Take one. I'm sure or savior would appreciate it as well."

After the first wave of paramedics retrieved their supplies, Enzo used his telekinesis to slip out a first aid kit and a medium sized blanket. Covering his back with the blanket and hiding the stolen goods, the duo continued to follow Crescent.

Ghost blinked slowly, and let out a quiet yawn. Had it truly gotten that late already? So much action makes time fly.

I should really keep tracking him, he mulled over in his head, However, What use would I be collapsed on a rooftop? Besides, such a high profile pony should have contacts all over this city. Hell, he probably owns that hotel or something.

Speaking of which, he decided it was time to head back and rest. He spotted the building in the distance and sped off, hopping from rooftop to rooftop and gliding over each road until he returned to his balcony. He entered and quickly changed into his 'civilian attire', before collapsing into his bed.

If anypony asked why he was wearing a shirt to bed, he'd simply lie and say he was exhausted from the trip to the city that he'd promptly passed out. Worked in every other hotel he'd stayed in, after all.

Well, now that THAT'S over, I'm positively BRIMMING with energy! The grey stallion thought to himself, sauntering out of a whimpering tavern. That's one way to enjoy your off time! Well, I should probably check in with Enzo; he might have a job for me... Or, maybe that blue fellow... I'd be interested in whatever business HE'S brewing! I trot off, thinking of where I could find them. Eventually, I resolve to just visiting their homes, and wait for them to return.

"Besides, I can just wait while in shadow form, in case any of their guards are trigger happy..." I ease myself, aloud.

Cresent pulled open his small fridge one him and Enzo entered his room "drink?" he asked the stag as the bat pony reached for a bottle of an deep red liquid placing it on the fridge

"not much, but" he was going to say more then his chest tightened up. He bit open the red bottle in  hurry and began to chug it. after a brief moment cresent felt his breathing working again. he looked back hopping the blood wouldn't be stained on his muzzle I think we could both use a bite and rest"

"Sure doesn't look like it"

Enzo declined the offer for a drink. "I'm not of age yet man."

He took a seat on the couch and opened up the stolen first aid kit. He began tending to the wound on his forehoof. While doing so, he asked beckoned crescent over.

Cresent looked himself over, the blood helps things work and regenerate, he doubted the stag new about batpony biology, he then remembered he lost the fight against said stag. He shrugged letting the stag do his work on him there was a brief silence as the stag applied his medicine.

Taken another swig of the blood drink "you showing up did hold up my plans a bit, not going to lie. but to answer your question"

He took another swing of the blood "I think we could help each other out, im looking for my brothers killer, and you need bits and know the city better"

He turned to the side, flashing back to the battle with Darkly. "Besides, i have my own objective to attend to."

The stag turned back and met Crescent dead in the eye, his eyes narrowing in suspicion. "If you needed any help looking for a killer, shouldn't you hit up your 'robocop' friend?"

They spent a few hours surveying the damaged buildings, and Ravage silently watched from the shadows as his master spoke to the assembled shopkeepers and building landlords.  Promises of assistance with repairing damages, for modest fees of course, guaranteed that the next few weeks would be profitable.  He marveled at the was his master was able to quickly take advantage of the situation and turn it to his own profit.

But now they had returned to the tower where his master lived, a modest high-rise in downtown Manehatten.  From the penthouse one could see the waterway, and watch the ponies far below in the streets.  But at the moment, all Ravage saw was trouble on the horizon.

He stood on the roof, staring out into the night, not really looking at anything.  The events of earlier cautioned him that trouble was coming.  The cyborg pony had returned, which could cause a major problem with his master's business plans with Cloudsdale Weather.  He would have to remain vigilant more then ever, if he was going to keep the life-dept he owed to his master....

Enzo finished patching himself up, and pondered over the offer.

"I find his voice lacking in deceit. After all, we will need all the help we can get...."

"...to kill that Metal son of a bitch in this concrete jungle. The heavens will not always fight with us."

The stag let out a sigh, and flopped onto the couch, his eyes staring at the ceiling.

"Alright, i'll help you out."

He let out a long, drawn breath, the exhaustion of the day's events finally reaching him. Enzo closed his eyes and drifted into a dreamless sleep.

"Hang on a second, Enzo. You don't even know his name"

Device was reading a newspaper on the front page it showed the damage the two ponies from last night caused. when she opened it she was met by a dark grey earth pony wearing a white trench coat and a white fedora hat. "Who are you?" Device asked with a frown.

"I am Exterreo, and I am here to tell you how sloppily you handled that situation." The mare said stepping into Mech's house.

"What do you mean i handled it sloppily it was not my fight to begin with."

"For a former royal guard you seem to lack the common sense of one, over two hundred ponies died last night in a battle you could have ended before it even started." Exterreo said looking at the pegasus angrily. "and don't claim it was not your fight. the number one rule of the Royal Guard rule book is to protect the weak and the innocent from those that wish harm to them."

Device was speechless Exterreo had a point she could have stopped them in the ally way but instead she flew away to eat some stupid pasta."Sorry ms.Exterreo."Device apologized.

"Nothing for you to apologize for. I am here to teach you how to be the best superhero you can be." Exterreo said with a smile.

"How do you know how to be a superhero?" Device asked.

"Because I was once a superhero myself before i decided to become a detective. But i will give you more details tomorrow, but right now i have to find two criminals that destroyed little Italy." Extorreo said handing Device a card. then walked out the door.

Device looked at the card, well looks like i have training to do.

@@P-Jay,

A train chugged along wearied tracks, gently shaking each pony within with each uneven bump, causing them to sway from side to side as they struggled to stay alive against the terrible-arse feeling you get from having to take a train at 6 in the fucking morning. In the mass of commuters, a half-cloaked figure stood. A 2-layered cloak covered her body and wings, only exposing a purple-feathered head.

*We have arrived in Manehatten. Get your luggage and move!*

The announcer spent no effort hiding the irritation from his voice. Nopony likes monday mornings.

Ponies spilled out of the carriage, carrying their belongings, bulky or not and squeezing ponies from each side, pushing past each other in an effort to avoid the long queues that could await them. As the carriages emptied, one would see a noticeably opened window in one of the carriages.

Salleria swooped down from the skies, landing outside a seemingly warehouse. A map of the city stored in her 'scouter' determined it's address.

This is the place

She walked up to the doors, and after a moment, knocked loudly on the metal.

"BONG BONG BONG BONG"

The loud sound resonated throughout the entire warehouse, as if vibrating the very air.

Sensing Caliber's arrival, several thoughts crossed her head.

'Who is this? One of Sakuya's lackeys? Undercover police? Is probably some teenager colt who think he's cool hanging around some abandoned building. Still... not worth the risk'

Not turning to face the new arrival, she replied, "Who am I?..."

2 Bat-like wings revealed themselves from under the top layer of her cloak. She spread them, and prepared to take flight.

"...None of your business"

Salleria flew up to the roof of the warehouse, only using 2 of her wings, the other pair hidden underneath her cloak's second layer, looking for an entrance into the building. That pony had to have exited the building via some kind of ventilation duct...

on top of the roof, it had no visible exhaust vents, upstairs door, or anything that caliber could've used to get up there. like he just did, he must've climbed his way up.

"ill ask again..." caliber said quietly, the faint sound of steel sliding against steel becoming known as he unsheathed his sword. "who are you...and why are you here?"

Salleria looked visibly annoyed as the pony behind her continued to ask his questions. Slowly turning around, she locked eyes with Caliber, catching a glimpse of his sword. She raised an eyebrow at the duct tape the pony used to hold his sword.

She inched closer to the pony, her eyes emotionless, giving nothing away. She spoke.

"Firstly, I am not obliged to tell you my name."

She moved, using her free claw to draw something from beneath her cloak...

"Neither am I obliged to tell you the purpose of my visit as this warehouse is not your property."

Salleria retrieved a small clipboard from her cloak, a document on it's front page verifying her claims. She showed it to Caliber. The griffin turned her attention to the pony's sword.

A comfortable stance. He settles into it so quickly. That shows experience.

Finally, Sakuya pushed aside the stack of papers she had been going over.  Looks like Ravage has been busy, she thought to herself.  Although the black-clad pony never left a paper trail, the reports of the aftereffect of his activities were numerous.  Combining those with shipping manifests from her big boss gave her a rough idea of what he was up to.  But enough of that.  Time to get back to my own work.  "Caliber!" she called out.  After a minute of no reply, she looked up and out the small office window into the main warehouse.  Only the other mares that she'd brought in as workers could be seen.  She trotted out of the office.  "Caliber!  Where'd you wander off to?"

Dusk Waltz had a relatively pleasant morning, managing to wake at a reasonable hour and getting a quick wash, donning a stylish black shirt. Once making sure his 'evening wear' was neatly tucked and locked away in his suitcase, he headed downstairs for some breakfast. A bowl of cereal and some coffee in the hotel restaurant went down a treat.

Feeling nice and refreshed, he exited the door and took in a breath of fresh air, ready to have a little tour of the city.

And see if he couldn't run into that stallion from the night before. He would have to be careful; no doubt that 'Ravage' would be closeby.
