Ahh the good old snes days, where games were actually so hard that using game genie is somewhat acceptable. Nowadays games are so easy, there's pretty much no need for cheating.

I completed that way back. Not anywhere near as hard as the original, ghosts n goblins..Not by a longshot. And no, cheating is never acceptable in my book, whats the point of playing then .

Ohhhhh man I had so many rage quits on that game.... It's so much fun though if you get lucky and get a good armor set at the beginning of the game. I got all the way to what I thought was the end of the game, BUT NOOOOO I had to go back and go though the levels AGAIN! D< after that I was done with it... But now you've awakened the demon that is Super ghosts 'n ghouls... My hands ache to play again... Curse you... lol
