Hi! ^~^ What are your favourite things to talk about?

Usually, I love talking about many topics such as MLP (of course), music, current events, funny stories, some sports I follow etc. I'm kind of free flowing in what I talk about. Although I do enjoy a discussion on a particular thing or even a meaningful debate. As long as it isn't something that will be too sensitive. I can handle sensitive stuff, but others might not. In short, I'm glad to talk about anything!

How did you decide upon your username/YouTube channel name? ^.^

I've always loved the phrase "Life goes on." I though it was a simple yet memorable name. So I used it for many accounts from different sites unless someone already took it. Since I was going to focus mainly on music from MLP, I decided to put MLP in front of the phrase "Life goes on." You could translate it as MLP-Lifegoeson or MLP Life-Goes on. So yeah, that's how I got the name. Sometimes, people tell me that it's a name of a song. But I absolutely did not know that until people told me about it.

How did you get interested in playing music?

During my childhood days. I decided I would learn to play piano. I had a good time learning it. But when I joined my school band in middle school, I played clarinet and I loved it! Once I got to high school, I got a bit more serious in the ways of the clarinet, realized that clarinets can actually sound really great, and managed to make Allstate band (an audition only thing where high school students from an entire state compete for spots. Most states have it). I'll admit that I tend to love things that I'm decent at, but music is genuinely something that I enjoy. I still play piano for fun though and it has helped me with a lot of music theory related stuff and my MLP transcriptions.

 

Another reason is that I realized early on music was one of those things that helped me develop a work ethic. You need to practice and prepare early on and it isn't something you can wait till the last day before a performance. You can't really cheat in music. It's one of those things where talent helps but hard work and persistence is main thing.
