movies/tv Sesame Street To Air On HBO

According to various sources including The Hollywood Reporter, HBO has struck a five year deal with Sesame Street to air at least five seasons staring this fall. However, it should be noted that the show will not be leaving PBS and will still air said episodes.

Glad to see this is not making Sesame Street exclusive to HBO or something which would be crazy, but I still find this to be rather...odd. :| Never expected such a strange partnership. It is a little baffling. Also crazy to think that they are still making new episodes for the show.

Who knows, maybe they'll finally develop Bert and Ernie's relationship.
