Draft took his bananas and began eating one.

"I think you mentioned something about that competition," he said to Midnight, "it must have been pretty unusual for a non-unicorn to enter, huh?"

"Pretty good bananas. They just got ripe." Jasmin said while eating bananas.

midnight laughed, "yeah, should have seen the looks on everyponys faces, although, now that i think about it, i was the shyist ive ever been so i cant remember many of them," he layed down on some soft grass "i failed the first round, but still had the losers bracket, whoever won that would get put into the second round and so forth,"

he smiled and crossed his hooves, getting comfortable while everypony ate, "i won that, to many surprised looks, my determination was giving me focus, and well, i got second place over all, won this bow, and earned my cutie mark."

Electrobolt had a small smile appear on his face as he heard Midnight. "Hahah, that's pretty cool," he said after swallowing the piece of his banana that he had taken a bite out of. Curious, he asked, "How strange did it feel to you when you first used a bow?"

"ehh, it felt very strange at first, but its like, my mind suddenly clicked around the end of the losers bracket, and it felt like i had been using a bow since i was born."

"Sort of like it was in your blood to use bows, huh?" Electrobolt pondered, after hearing Midnight. He then took a look at the bow that Midnight used again as a curious look appeared on his face. *I wonder... If he was able to do it, would it be possible that I could learn how to use a bow too...?* He then cleared the thought out of his head as he continued to eat the first banana, leaving the second banana for later.

midnight smiled, and stood, streaching, "alright, is everypony ready to move on?" midnight noticed the look electro was giving the bow, how interested he was in it,

"you want to try sometime?" he smiled, "i can try and teach ya, itll take a bit, but when we find a place to rest i can show you how i do it, that is..." he blushed, "if youd like."

Electrobolt's eyes suddenly lit up as he looked at Midnight again. "Really? You'd do that for me?" he replied. Electrobolt was practically grinning from ear to ear when he heard Midnight's offer.

smiles "yes, you seem interested in it, so why not." he smiled at how happy electrobolt looked, and smiled inwardly,

"im not good at teaching, but....ill try my best." he smiled rubbign the back of his head and blushed again

Electrobolt continued to grin as he heard Zarely speak up. Looking back to Midnight, he said, "Looks like you have two students now!" He looked around a bit more as he added, "Maybe we should continue on for now, don't you think so?"

midnight smiled and blushed a bit brighter, before coughing "oh...um yeah, lets continue on, dont want to be stuck here in the dark." he turned and facehooved, why the buck was he blushing so much? he bet a hundred bits he looked like a black rose.

moving forward he looked to his left, then right, then shut his eyes and seemingly chose a random path, "thanks alex, now this, is an adventure."

Cloud chuckled now, "Aww come on Midnight! Don't be so bashful!" he said teasingly. He listened as the two asked for bow lessons, "Meh, I'll leave the bow to you Midnight, I like my wingblades better anyway."

that means you like to take em up close and personal." midnight chuckled, "whereas i like to take them from a distance if at all possible, but if not, i have something else i can use instead."

"It's no fun to fight from a distance" said Cloud, he then got curious "Oh? And what is that?"

shakes head,"its fun for me, beacuse i wont have to deal with them later, i can just move on." he then smiled

midnight chuckled "alright alright, dont get your wings in a twist," he reaches into his saddlebag and grabs the hilt, and pulls out a katana like sword, that slightly glows black, nightmare moons cutie mark embolized on the hilt, he puts it into the ground "granted i dont use it as much as i should, but i havent had need of it lately."

he smiles at cloud "but i brought it along just in case, then again, its one of the few possessions i own, living on any cloud you can find almost your whole life, means theres not much space, so everything i own is in these saddlebags."

Cloud admired the blade, "Very nice" he said. "Looks like you and me are no different, we both sleep on whatever cloud we find that night and travel lightly."

midnight smiles, grabs the blade giving it a few swings, then places it back in its scabbard, but it seems to long to fit in the saddlebag, yet it does anyway,

"that life isnt bad, granted, its not as fun as living in a house, but you get some freedoms with it."
