World Setting

Set in Manehatten.

It's the 1960s and the world is recovering from the Second World War.

Crime is high, murder is often and criminals are dangerous.

As an investigator you're to uncover crimes and collect evidence started by criminals.

As a criminal you have to commit crimes and avoid arrest.

You can be a Unique Character of your choice but it has to relate to the time period and era/theme.

All Unique Professions will pend approval.

(I am open to suggestions.)

Background: Born the only white stallion in an African Amareican household.

He was constantly beaten and battered as a child from those who envied the bright future promised by the color of his skin. That bright future never came to be, for  he had had enough of the inequality between ponies, the crimes, and the rich.and at such a young age, he abandoned his studies and left his home with naught but a note. On that day He would walk down a path that if left unchecked would bring the entire city to it's very knees.

Background: Deadbolt was always the pony that most ponies assumed was never going to make it in life. It was no wonder that he discovered his talent of protecting when he saved a couple of the other foals from his school when a carriage almost flattened them.

His current job has him rotating through the banks in the area, though he aims to someday be some kind of security dispatcher.

Forgive me for posting late. I like the idea of this RP, but is it limited to just investigator and criminal? Stories like these usually have many types of characters to make use of. For example... Informant, assistant, minion, hostage, police officer, police chief, the client, etc. I ask because I have a character that would make a great informant, but I don't really want to be an detective or criminal.

background: summer grew up in a pour familie and because she was the youngest of the familie she never had enough to eat. she had to proof she was just as good as her older brothers and sisters so she started stealing to provide her familie with some money. her crimes where never discoverd because no one would suspect such a cute little mare with bright blue eyes. the crimes became more and more dangerous and summer learned flying quick and silent. eventiualy it began to bore her and she walked away from home to start a life for herself as a fulltime criminal.
