Now that the Cutie Mark Crusaders have cutie marks and the marks represent illuminating other ponies on their special talents, how do you think CMC will evolve as an club?

 

Personally I think this is the begining of an Equestria-wide outreach program keen to "Big Brothers Big Sisters". Scootaloo, Sweetie Belle, Apple Bloom and future CMCs will pair themselves with troubled ponies in order to help find true talents as well as how to apply those talents.

 

...or could this go a different direction? What do you think?

My head canon is that DT will become their leader.

it can't be a coincidence that they got their cutie mark after befriending her.

 

also if we note the CMC's cutie marks, we'll see that they look like shields.

who has shield? well knights do! 

 

And DT just happens to have a type of crown as her cutie mark. 

The CMC could totally end up being her knights.

I think that they'll remain pretty much as they are now but focus on helping the other colts/fillies find their talents in the same manner that they tried to find their own.

 

Beyond the strong possibility that they'll be involved in the Mane Attraction episode, I don't know what else they'll be doing in the future.

The show couldn't keep them as "blank flanks" forever. If "Appleoosa's Most Wanted" taught us anything is that the CMCs were getting repetitive over their schemes of obtaining cutie marks. Change NEEDED to happen.
