Personally, I'm used to playing Jazz and Remix as a duo, since that's a large section of their personalities, but I can pick just one if you would like!

We can talk about it a bit more if you want, but keep both profiles up there for now. I will look at everyponies OC's and as long as you think you can handle it I think it will be okay.

My sincerest apologies. I've been busy as of late, and will continue to be busy for the foreseeable future (Stellina knows this). Also, I've yet to determine my house or year, though I am wondering if I would not be more suitable to staff instead. Bah, a ridiculous notion. The only certainty is that I would not be an Alicorn, for services and awards are not quite my style. I perhaps am leaning towards Changeling...one in their final years, given that I am several years beyond my own university education.

 

Of course, 'twould all amount to little if I am unable to post as frequently as I should or would like.

I'm afraid that me and Gentleman Cruki won't be able to participate in this RP. He has a lot of RP's keeping him busy, and i'm planning on starting one. I did how ever type that i would reply the following day IF we where interested. My apologies if it couldn't been seen in my post.

I will also start the RP with the ponies that we have, even if that means I have to be a couple other characters for the time being, until more are interested and taking over for some of the professors, etc.

 

I am on my phone at the moment, but I will be on my computer shortly and get things started. I will tag everyone in the post so once you see that notification then feel free to introduce your characters by having them enter the campus or bump into another pony or just a post about everything that your character is thinking coming into the school year.

 

I know that most if not all plan on being a first year which is totally fine. I will play a character from each house as the "go to" pony for each house.

 

when more ponies are interested in taking over those spots in which I am only temporary filling, we can create a reason for my character to be leaving. It won't be a problem.

 

Be on the look out for the notification. It won't be too long now.

If you would like to be a professor of the medical field that would be great. Teaching the ponies interested in field med, or biology, and such, you can even keep in the mad scientist part and have him get super intense at times if you want.

I think you should read reader8363's OC character Shadow. It would be interesting for the two of you to work together.

yeah, we can introduce you at the dinner and say that you are here to observe because you were offered a teaching position. That way you can get a feel for the campus and how things work before taking charge of the class. We can have the old professor has been waiting to retire, but there hadn't been a prospective replacement until you were offered the job.

the second post is up and we are functional!! 

 

Please over the next day or so introduce your characters in a manner that you see fit. 

 

Know that the dinner and sorting ceremony is only a short time away, but after that is over then we can dive into much more.

I know that it is early into the RP but I am really enjoying it! I hope we can find some more people to join us! Let your friends know that we have spots open, not just staff or professors but many more students as well. 

 

I haven't figured out how many or the names of the other characters that I will be playing for the time being, but I will give a little bit of an idea of the headmaster. 

 

Headmaster Greyhoof is a very old unicorn stallion. He has been running the school for ... a LONG time. He normally just wears his grey robe and he has a hat to cover his horn. It had been broken in an "accident" many years ago, he still has very powerful magic but he is a bit self conscious about it. He has a long white mane and tail, he also has a bit of a scruffy white beard. His coat is also white, and for his age it was still as stunning as fresh snow. He has deep blue eyes, and he has a sparkle in them, he is very hopeful, kind, happy, but also a worry from everything he has seen in his long life. 

 

Professor Stardust is my OC, she is rather young for her position as a professor, but she grew up looking at the stars and started studying very early on. She was approached to create maps for the University after she finished and after a short time doing that, the previous professor of astronomy wanted to retire and the job was hers for the taking. 

 

I will be playing a 4th year from each of the houses, the pony that they will all go seek council from after the first years are placed in their houses. 

 

From house Crystal it will be a very peppy mare, I will update you on her once I figure out her name/personality.

 

From house Changling it is going to be a stallion, his appearance is more to the "goth" stereotype, spiky bracelets, necklace, his mane is in a black spiked Mohawk with hot pink, stark blue, and white in it, but don't let his appearance fool you, he is a softy. 

 

From house Alicorn (if we have anyone interested in that house, none as of yet) it will be the student body president as well as the best student academically at the school. Think of her as the nice girl but when she gets threatened by somepony else in any type of academia she gets really scary mean and tough. Best way to describe her is like... the sour patch kids, like, one moment she is sweet and then BAM sour kicks in and then when it's over, she is sweet again. 

 

I will probably be playing a couple other professors as well. We can talk about which classes the first years will be taking as well as which classes the second years will be taking. 

 

I will play a couple other students too, so there is more conversation rather than just between student and teacher. 

 

I do really hope that more will be interested soon! lol

 

And if anyone else is willing to play a couple other characters to help keep this going for the time being that would be great! I know reader8363 has another character that I am looking over to see where he would fit.

I think I have come up with the colors for the houses. Please let me know if you like them, of if you have suggestions of your own. I just pulled these out of thin air, I looked at them side by side to make sure they looked good, but I am open for any other suggestions.

 

For the Alicorn House, the colors are crimson and gold.

 

For the Changling House, the colors are dark, dark green and black. 

 

For the Crystal House, the colors are crystal rose, and crystal clear.

 

Let me know your thoughts either way, and we have time to change them if someone else has an idea for a better color combination but once I post I would like to keep it the way we have all agreed upon. I will post shortly.
