Will Skyla Be A 'Princess'?

I feel she or he would be born royal, just like Prince Blueblood. Not an alicorn, but is related to royal blood.

Going to be honest, I expect that S6 is going to have alicorns crawling out of the woodwork and influencing the plot, leading up to the movie probably having a plot revolving around the alicorns and what happened to them.

No guarantees of course, but speculating on what look to be upcoming toylines plus the leaked e-mails about ideas for the movie make me think it'll be S6's theme.

Who says it's really going to be Skyla???

 

It's been, what, 4 or 5 years? I think it would be too little, too late, or Hasbro might've moved on.  

 

Then again, knowing them they'll just release more Skyla toys with new features...

 

That said, I'll wait and see what actually happens before going with anything.

 

 

 

Though this HAS given me an interesting theory about Season 6's Premiere: Shining and Cadence baby will be the first Alicorn born since Celestia and Luna, and this will somehow involve big magical events and a villain.

Celestia and Luna haven't had kids, and all the other alicorns seem to have left before the other pony tribes moved to Equestria.

 

 

 

As far as we know, Celestia and Luna did not have origins like all other ponies, at least, that is all we can concur at this point.

They were raised around the Canterlot hills, before there was a kingdom there, and were taught by the other alicorns. The others left, and eventually they were approached by Starswirl into becoming the princesses of Equestria. It should be noted that at the time, they were already getting older but they still hadn't gotten their cutie marks yet because alicorns can take longer to fully mature. It's only a lot later they discovered their special talents were raising the sun and moon in place of the unicorns.

No one officially. It just seems like the most appropriate thing to call it now besides their baby. Besides, the crew at least already know about Skyla and people have probably specifically asked about her and if she'll be their baby since years ago when the toy first showed up. I imagine that's probably going to be the name on the top of their list of possible names for the baby.
