Lol kind of didn't read the dates. Man am I early to the party like a lot a lot. It really is amazing how he came up with this headcannon so early even before Brony curios and stuff.

Luna is way too awesome to be Chrysalis. I do agree that Luna has undiscovered depths and there is a lot about her character that has not been discussed, but even when she was Nightmare Moon, I think her main issue was feeling rejected. I don't think she is inherently bad. Now Chrysalis is inherently bad.  How can you call that face evil? She's adorable!

Did you guys watch the video. Why didn't the elements purge her evil 1000 years ago when celestia used them on her. Why did she have to be banished to the moon. If the elements didn't work then, why now. Also to counteract the part where luna calls out to Twilight. We know nightmare moon can make clones of herself from the second episode and we also know she can teleport. So yeah.

Also another thing is you never see Luna when Crysalis is on screen. This is more speculation than anything though and also Luna's and Crysalis tiaras look the same.

 Also jealousy is the entrance to evil. It all starts by being Jealous then you murder your own kin. Just like how Caine murdered Seth. Like I said before Luna can shape shift. She is sweet on the outside but planning something evil on the inside. She needed to see if she can defeat Celestia in a fight. She needed to see if she can defeat the Elements of Harmony. She needed to see if she can go around Shining Armour's force-field. Also, she did this without a single glimpse of suspicion.

Your right this is just a head cannon, and a silly one too. Just imagine though if this was real. If this is what the writers intended to be. If this is really going to a part of the 4th season then the mlp story boardist will be the best story boardist that will ever exist. This will be a huge shock to the fandom and will cause great people to be amazed and in awe. Of couse this is probably not real, but if it is then the show will be that much better.

Well what I'm saying is if Luna did plan this take over once she got back, she would have learned about Cadence. Like how she acts, what she does, and maybe even learn about her relationship with Twilight. She had like a year to learn all this. Even if she came up with this idea a week before the Wedding she would have at least had a lot of time to learn about her.

 

How I see it is Chrysalis changes into just a random pony, finds out who is getting married, finds a place to leave Cadence, and then capturers her in the minds. Chrysalis did not have time to learn about Cadence herself. 

 

So that is kinda what I meant.

I'm not saying that Luna is a changeling im just stating that Luna disguises herself as Chrysalis and gets to defeat Celestia, beat the elements of harmony, and get past shining armours forcefield. I'm saying if the elements didn't work on her in the first place why would they work a thousand years later. What if Luna is just fooling everypony to take over equestria when nobody expects it.

Just because you see her in season 3 doesn't mean anything. She still being covert testing, plotting. Trying to find a way to take it all.

Okay lets say this. If your familiar with a double spy. Luna portrays to be Chrysalis the queen of the changelings. When she acts like Cadence being Chrysalis. If she acts exactly like Cadence being Chrysalis  That would be preposterous like you said Chrysalis did not have time to learn about Cadence. By being naive she shrugs off her true attention of being Nightmare moon. This may also be due to the fact that Luna may have wanted to battle Celestia as Chrysalis. To see if she is stronger and that is why she is surprised she beat her sister.

 

Also tell me this how does a changeling know about a network of mines beneath Canter-lot 1000 years ago ,emphasizing the 1000 years, when so many ponies don't know they even exist. You would have to have extreme knowledge off the castle and everything around it. Also tell me this, what would be the point of Chrysalis making a threat to Canter-lot if she was already inside. What would be the point if she could already get inside. Unless it was to make Canter-lot at full alert to test.
