I'm just going to start keeping one thread for OC's I've created that haven't officially evolved into full blown OC's.

 

1) Sprout

Talent: Greenhouse work

Backstory: Raised in Cloudsdale, she moved to Canterlot after hearing some excitement about the garden. ?

Morning Glory seems to be a very interesting OC! Both her talent and appearance! I would like to know more about her. I'm going to need a little more info on your first OC If i want to give a full opinion on her. Overall, they both look really nice!

If I may say, since you're looking for critique, I really find the talent of Morning Glory interesting. I haven't seen much like it and it's pretty creative. I feel as if her colors are a bit bland though. A collection of white and light grey doesn't feel very remember-able to me. I'd suggest maybe some colors you would find in the sky, since their talent is time based. I like their name though, I think it's clever and relates to the pony's talent very well.

 

I can't really say much about Sprout without any story, but I really am fond of the color choice you used.

Whats the story Morning Glory?

 

 

They're good. Not much I can critique because there isn't much there, but what is there is good. You should totally develop them more.

Maybe "_____ Sprout" can just be called "Sprout". You don't need to have two words in the name and "Sprout" sounds really nice. Why spend a bunch of time thinking of a name when you already have a good one, right? She looks smart, so I think the talent is good. Maybe go into a little more detail and say what she does with her talent. Maybe she is a botanist (scientist who studies plants) or is into herbology (use of plants for medicine).

Also, maybe Sprout's special talent can be dealing with seedlings, or maybe she's good with greenhouses (since pegasi generally have weather/environment related talents)?

I'm really liking 3 also. I think the gradient in the mane and tail look fantastic, and I think it's a much better look from the point of color!
