Caleb responded saying "Yah! my name's Caleb." Suddenly another girl appeared behind him, he was amazed so far he had seen 1 more humans then non-humans. He gave the same warm smile to the new arrival "Oh! I didn't see you their uh. The names Caleb, like I said before. Right now his situation was going from good to great! He had not only found one human friend but, two and they both were not only girls but, cute ones at that! Yep he had met two girls and a snake-man-thing! Wait what? A snake man!? Caleb watched the creature move through the hall. Something about it, this Naga, was familiar. Suddenly it came to him. He had played a multitude of RPGs and a common enemy found in many RPG's was a Naga every time they had something like Stone gaze or Hypnosis. Red flags where going up faster then a person could count them. Caleb looked at both of the girls with an apologetic face. Sorry but I have to do something really quick! T-talk to you later." He ran off in the direction the creature had came from. The North, same as closed door Caleb had heard was to the North and it said that he had found a room so he assumed it meant the room in the North

Flux blushed a deeper shade of red and stammered I-If you want, we could sh-share a room

To be honest, Flux thought this boy was actually quite cute, so she offered to share her room, so she could maybe become less shy, and hopefully make new friends in process of it. She didn't sense the same angry emotion she sensed in Ash, so she hoped they could be friends

Without being seen, Sebastian had snuck up behind Vlad, using a mix of his tall hight and a dark tone of voice, he can across as very serious and dangerous. "Front doors exist to be used when entering someone else's home. Particularly if you are unannounced. Master Mikaele does not take kindly to intrusions, so it will be wise to explain yourself, before things get out of hand. Lamia."

 

With the preparations made for dinner, the rest of the servants could handle serving. Mika headed out of the kitchen and up the stairs to the second floor, stopping before he came into anyone's sight. He had spotted the Naga, hopefully before it saw him. Resting his hand on the pommel of his cane, Mika trusted Sebastian to be able to assess if this was a threat or a friend.

Vladimir turned to see Sebasitain and could also detect Mikele's heat signature with his tounge. "I asssssure you it wasssss never my intention to be rude." He said, giving a slight bow. "I wassss looking for the owner of thiss mansion when I had a little run in with the other house guests. Needless to say, I got a bit distracted." The lamia then moved his tail into the room he would be sharing with Gale and shuffled through his bag, before pulling out the papers he needed. He pulled his tail back and dropped the parchment into his hand. "I apologize for any undue panic I may have caused. Hopefully these will sort everything out."

 

Kyubi watched the lamia for a moment and didn't really trust him. Even among non-humans, they were known to be tricksters and extremely charismatic when they needed to be.Ofcourse, kitsunes had their own tricks. Even in human form, they could still communicate with certain spirits. A small, blue fireball materialized next to her and she gently strokes the flame. "Be sure to watch him." She whispered. "I don't know why whoever set this up would send a lamia here, so it would be best to be careful."

Sebastian took the papers and made sure to look them over thoroughly. Nothing of the sort seemed out of place though. "Well everything does appear to be in order. These documents are legitimate. And you apologised for what you did, so that's good. I suppose I should say welcome to the mansion, although it seems that people will be calling it an interspecies embassy from now on. I'm not needed here, so I'll take my leave." Sebastian walked away from the non humans and towards the stairs.

 

Seb: "Something about my gut tells me something is not as it seems with this Naga."

 

Mika: "Leave it for now Sebastian. We'll talk more later." With a pat on the shoulder Mikaele walked out from the stairs and towards the new Naga. "So you're the one who has been looking for me? And by the sound of things you'll be staying with us. I think this makes a full house. Unless of course you decide to share a room. But that will come later, for now everyone,

Vladimir nodded slightly and smiled as he watched Mikele. "It wouldn't ssssurprise me if they did." He said, giving a slight chuckle. "As for my living arrangementssss, I will be sssssharing a room with Gale, if that issss acceptable with you. She and I have already agreed upon that, so that will be one less thing for you to worry about. If you don't allow that sort of thing, I will understand." The lamia didn't really know the way to the eating area, so he would follow Mikele.

 

Kyubi rolled her eyes and headed towards the dining area. It didn't seem like Mikele and Sebastian trusted Vladimir, and she couldn't really blame them.

Aeron had walked off when the others got into their own conversation (though she found it oddly nice to be called "Ae" and so didn't bother correcting Vladimir).  She found a room that looked unoccupied, so she looked inside.  She didn't walk in right away, only doing so after looking closely from the entrance and noticing no personal traces whatsoever.

 

She was only able to set her two bags on the bed in the room before she heard mention of dinner.

So she caught up with Mikele, feeling a tad inadequate, being a 20 year-old who still dressed the same way she did when she was in 12th-grade (shorts and shirts with tennis shoes) on her way to dinner in a lavish house.

As Vladimir and the others conversed, Gale slept soundly, unaware of what was going on around her. Even when Caleb entered her room and noticed her sleeping form, she didn't budge. Of course, she wouldn't remember what happened with Vladimir either and would most likely assume that she had been feeling tired from the days events.

Ash sighed and got up as he stretched his wings, then began to head down for dinner, until he saw Gale sleeping in her room. Surely She needed something to eat as well. He sighed and decided to leave her, he headed back down into the dining room, where he figured he could just grab something and leave

So he quietly closed the door to Gale's room and walked over to the girl, noticing that the other had left. "Well it seems everything's alright." He said to the girl trying to play it off cool. "I just had to check on something, anyway, I heard that dinner would be ready soon so, would it be okay if we went down there together?" He asked the girl.

Caleb realized that the girl Flux had try to say something to him before he left but, in his rush he hadn't quite caught it. "I just had to check on something, anyway, I heard that dinner would be ready soon so, would it be okay if we went down there together?" He asked the girl.

Flux quite quite surprised that she was holding this conversation with the human boy, but she remembered that the data device was still on, but quickly ignored it, as she hoped nothing would happen, and started walking down to the dining area, with the boy beside her...

As Caleb talked his appetite rose and he realized he hadn't eaten in a while and usually he ate a lot. "What kind of food do you like?" He said asking the question right back at her "I'm under the impression that your a girl of a fine pallet." He gave the girl yet another friendly smile to show that he was joking. It was fun spending time with this girl, in fact he had a bit of feeling towards Flux, "just another thing to protect." He thought to himself, despite a few things here and there and the snake he felt like this embassy thing was going to be a bit more fun then he originally thought.

Finding her way on her own after a bit of following, Aeron pushed away to the dining area.  Still very curious about the rich house and the creatures she was going to be spending a long while with, she took to wandering the edges.  As she did this, she constantly dusted down her shirt, again feeling like a fish out of water.  Or rather, a mundane girl out of the ordinary world like in the monomyth (another word for "hero's journey").

Flux thought about what she learned about humans, as she tried human food once, it wasn't bad, nor was it good. Flux supposed she could try it another time, and she replied Well, I guess I could do for a good steak too, but I pefer fruits too As the two approached the hall, Flux asked the boy Umm, w-would you like to sit together? If not that's ok... Flux thought the boy was actually cute, she wasn't sure where she was getting these feeling the boy form, but she hoped the boy more/less returned the feelings...

Mikaele led everyone to the dining room quickly, inside the room was a large table with enough chairs for everyone to sit comfortably. All along the length of the table was a wide selection of foods ranging from edible plants, fruits, meats, dressings, drinks and almost anything else you could ask for.

 

"I didn't know who would be staying with us, so we couldn't guess what to cook. So we cooked everything. Please sit anywhere you like and enjoy at your own pace. Don't worry about running out of a certain thing, this is all you can eat. Do enjoy yourselves, and if you find anything lacking, feel free to let Sebby or I know."

 

Mika took a seat at the head of the table and got comfortable, but didn't plate up anything for himself. He just sat back and smiled.

Caleb nodded in response to the girl then looked for the ideal spot to sit, he decided it would have to be near the middle where he could access the most variety of foods. He prided himself in not being too picky. As he sat down he noticed that Aeron was waling around the edges of the room but, Caleb guessed she probably wasn't too hungry if she hadn't sat down already, in contrast Caleb was starving so be began plating himself some of the food. For his first plate he decided to grab a piece of steak, some Caesar Salad, some Mash potatos and gravy. He also scooped up a small roll and slathered it in some butter. Once plated he began to eat making sure to use the manners his mother had taught him as he ate.

Vladimir smiled slightly as he manuevered his coils so that they stacked on top of the previous layer. The nags filled a plate with several types of meats and eggs. He then glanced at Mikele. "If it issssn't to much trouble, could I bring a plate up to Gale after dinner. She fell asssleep after I sssspoke to her about sharing a room and we wouldn't want the dragoness to go hungry, would we?" He said, giving a slight smile.

Aeron had a tendency to get full easily and ate a sandwich prior to arrival, so she simply poured herself a glass of grape juice.  Though she spent a lot of time in front of a computer trying to accomplish her dream, she preferred standing to sitting down.  So she leaned against the wall behind the cheerful Caleb kid, seemingly staring at the back of his head, but really beginning to lose herself in her own world of thoughts.

"Sure, I don't see the problem with that. She was most likely tired from the long trip. The dragon nation and the human nations aren't very close after all. And to have to do most of it by ground too because of the boarders. I'd be tired too."

 

 

Sebastian: "Mika, even though you're not eating. Would you at least have a drink? You must be thirsty."

 

Mika: "Yes I am quite thirsty. Do we have a bottle of my private red wine open?"

 

Sebastian pulled the bottle in question out from his jacket. "I always come prepared Master." Pouring a glass half full, it had a very strong, metallic like smell to it.

 

Mika: "Ah, this sweet and decadent scent of a fresh and fine wine. With a sweet Metallic zing for an aftertaste. Beautiful."

"It seems like my alibi worked." He thought, before heading upstairs. To be honest, the lamia wanted to get on Gale's good side and spend a bit more time with the dragoness.

Ash narrowed his eyes at the Lamia. He didn't trust anybody near her, especially Vladimir, as little interest he seemed to have in any of the monsters, He was watching, and something about the Lamia put him off. He grinned and began to follow him, but worked hard so as not to be seen. Maybe he should just watch for now.

Vladimir didn't see Ash as he made his way to Gale's room and silently opened the door. He then set the plate of food he had collected and set it on the table beside her bed. "Sorry to wake you up so early, but you really should get something to eat." He said, gently tapping on the dragoness's head. The lamia's nose then twitched and he frowned. "It's not nice to spy on people, little bird." He said.

Ash growled as he was called out, and put on a dark grin. "What do you think you're doing here, Lamia? The dragons are a noble race. They don't need to be taken care of by a lowly snake." He stepped up to the Lamia and leaned in. "Besides, she's under my watch. I'll be taking care of her." He backed off and stood in the doorway, "I'll let you have your way next time. But I warn you, I will not be so gracious the next."

Vladimir stopped tapping on Gale's head and simply smirked. "I don't know what you could possibly be talking about." He said, as he slithered towards Ash. "Either way, considering the fact that the dragoness and I share a room and you have to sleep sometime, there's no way you can always protect her. That's assuming I had any other ulterior motives, though." His voice was dripping with venom and he wouldn't take being insulted lightly. The lamia then moved past Ash and headed back downstairs.

Ash snarled as the Lamia left. "Evil creature." He muttered as he Entered the dragoness' room, He was glad she had been asleep for the whole conversation. He didn't like the likes of that Lamia, and this one especially was getting on his nerves. Nevertheless, he thought about what he said. It was his duty to defend the Dragon, but if she and the Lamia shared  room, it couldn't be helped. Ash shook his head and headed back to his room. He didn't want to see anyone else at the moment.

Gale groaned as she slowly woke up and saw the food that Vladimir had left out for her. She then shook her head and sighed. before noticing Ash's scent in the air. "He was here." She thought, before following the trail towards said phoenix's room. She then gently tapped on the door. "Ash, did something happen in my room?" She asked. The dragoness couldn't remember what had happened with Vladimir, so she simply assumed that she was tired from the trip.
