If Fallout Equestria was canon?

Since Fallout Equestria follows the story of Fallout 3 very closely, "the story so far" in FiM takes place well before Fallout Equestria does.

Since it takes place some 30 years after the start of Season 2 (everything after that is technically non-canon to the original Fallout Equestria) there's no way the show or comic could incorporate aspects from Fallout Equestria as it is now

 

Everything in other FoE fics that do incorporate aspects from later seasons are merely unofficial expansions to Kkats work

 

Heck, Origin Story isn't canon and Kkat wrote that

 

Besides, Fallout didn't create barren wastelands

Those have been around since the start of the planet before organisms crawled out of the primordial sea

Also, it's "canon" not "cannon"

 

The only similarities between the two is that both are capable of sinking ships

Well by this point it can't be because the canon events mean many major aspects of the story simply couldn't have happened, but if for some reason it still was, it wouldn't really affect the show in any meaningful way.

 

The only way we'd get to see the events that lead up to the war would be after the events of the show itself.
