His voice sounds like the lead singers of Journey, Chris Rock, Dragonforce and this one Japanese band all combined. I don't know if he smokes still but the act seems to have pushed his voice in the right direction. His voice sounds like a cigar soaked in bourbon that's been aging for 20 years.
