LOCAL
We are very much aware that accommodation in the immediate area of the convention is limited to 3 Premier Inns and a Travel Lodge (walking distance). As such a number of people will be likely searching for alternative city-centre accommodation options and will need to use local transport options.

CARS
Head to the M60, Junction 9 or 10, and follow the signs for EventCity, Barton Square or Legoland. The best postcode for SatNav is M17 8AS. Junction 9 is usually less congested than junction 10.

Please remember that parking is FREE this year at the venue, and we have thousands of spaces available. If you can find free/reasonably priced parking at or near your accommodation, then car-sharing between the accommodation and the venue is likely the cheapest way to get back and forth.

Depending on what services you intend to use, depends on what DaySaver ticket you need. Most attendees will only need to purchase Off-Peak tickets as there is no peak on weekends.

INTERNATIONAL

Manchester International Airport is just a few miles down the road – giving both international and domestic flights access to the city. From there you can take a taxi directly up to the venue (EventCity, Phoenix Way, M17 8AS).

From the Airport by Bus

Take the 43 bus (about an hour’s journey) to Piccadilly Gardens in the city centre. Switch to the X50/250/251 services to The Trafford Centre (about 25-35 minutes).

From the Airport by Metro / Bus

Take the ‘F’ service Metrolink tram to Trafford Bar. Alight and walk out the station (3 mins) north-east towards Chester Road for the 250/251bus stop. Take the bus to The Trafford Centre.

If you wish to continue into the city, the ‘F’ service stops at Cornbrook, just outside the city, where you can switch platforms and jump on an ‘A’ or ‘C’ service inbound tram; or change at Cornbrook for services to Salford Quays, Sale, Eccles and other destinations (see map).

From the Airport by Train / Bus

Take the train from Manchester Airport to Deansgate Station. Alight and catch the X50 to The Trafford Centre. Alternatively you can alight at Piccadilly Station, but you will need to walk around 5-10 minutes to Piccadilly Gardens where you can catch the X50/250/251.
