summer had followed fleaira into the room, flearia went first. she is the one with magic summer thought if there are any traps then flearia will be able to stop it. this was a bit selfish of her but it was the truth, if anything would happen then flearia would have a much bigger chance to protect them both as summer, and flearia seemed to be a braver too.

 

when they had entered the room there was nothing and suddenly there was a flame, a speaking magical flame for celestia's sake!!! summer did't want to go on any further, flearia was talking to the flame and if she said something she would probably make it worse. so she remained at the back of the room, close to the door if they had to leave quickly.

 

summer listened to flearia and the flame talking when the room started to get warm, summer started to feel really uncomforable, this heat was killing her. luckily flearia send irra to help summer and irra created some kind of purple flame around her that blocked the heat 'thanks irra' summer said to the little magical companion. but then summer attention got drawn towards flearia, she was talking firmly to the flame and she even had her own wings now! 'if I was that flame, I would stop doing what I did and go away really quickly now' summer whispered partly to herself and partly to irra .

 

then the flame dissapeared and summer felt like she could finaly breath again. but he didn't leave the room inmediately, she waited for her friend. 'how did you do that' summer said to flearia 'did you use magic? or did the flame disapear by itself? and what's with the wings?? can you fly with them???' as summer fired questions towards her friend she got more and more exited, she was jumping up and down again when she started to ramble again 'because if you could fly witht them then you would practicly be an alicorn, since your level of magic is just as good as twilight's. but if you don't know how to fly I could teach you how to fly, since I am a pagasus and all' then she paused to breath 'but if you already know how to fly then I don't have to teach you anymore ofcourse' an other breathing pause, and then she continued in a much calmer voice 'sorry, I start rambeling when I'm exited, or when I'm scared' and she send a guilty smile towards her friend

As the flurry of questions was comming towards her and Summer looked extremly excited. She let a smile as Irra startes to separate herself from Summer and as she did she absorbed the rest of the heat in the room. Making it as cool as before. Tough Irra was now almost as big as Summer when she was done separating herself. "No I didn't do anything else then absorb the heat before it vanished, but if it would have tryed anything that wasn't more then filling the room with heat. I would have made it dissapear." Flearia motioned for Summer to follow out of the room as she looked back on her fire wings. Irra placed herself beside Flearia and made herself a copy of her, specifying the wings and started to run around both of then as they entered the otherroom. "My wings show when I'm serius with my ability or as now. Heal from the magical fire around." Flearia explained before letting an embarased grin on her muzzle. "or when I lose controll."

"My mentor told me that she habe seen this with several of her past students. Some get spectral wings, horn or mane. Some other get their eyes glowing. But all have something in common. They all represent our element. Mine being fire. I know one other who also got my fire element. She got both horn and wings. Another have arcane, or 'magic'" she rolled her eyes ar the last. "and had glowing eyes."

She flapped the wings and saw them dispell. "I can fly if I cast a flight spell that let's me walk on clouds for a few days. Tough it drains a good amount of magic to do so, but I'm nowhere good at it"

"Ay I would be as good as she is now, and don't worry." Flearia smiled. "Ask anything you want"

summer listened to flearia answer all of her questions. 'nha' sumer said when flearia was finished talking 'no more questions' and smiled.

 

'shall we try to find the others now?' summer said as she trotted out of the room, when she came into the big hall again she looked at the door at her left 'the left door now I think, since that's the next door' summer said to flearia. hopefully this would lead them to prof and jacky because summer began to worry about them a bit.

 

'do you think jacky and prof have already found the key?' summer said to flearia when she trotted to the door on their left, since that was the door opposite them when they entered the big hall. hopefully they would find prof and jacky there.

Indus stepped forward, his horn beginning to glow a soft navy hue. He targeted the bow in the centre of the room - eliminating a ranged weapon would prove their passing through much easier.

 

A good chance to test this spell out, it seems.

 

He cast the de-spell at the bow, hoping to eliminate the enchantment placed upon it. If it worked, he could move on to the melee weapons.

Next 'left' room Flearia and Summer entered was a long hallway with two windows thet allowed close tonothing light in this room. In this room there were two deamon-pony guards walking one next to other talking, they were walking towered dore out two champions were. And onli exit from this room was behaind this two guards on north wall.

Indus barely reacted to the weapons turning on him and Jacky, as if he knew it would happen.

 

He watched the axe come toward him and attempt a swing, and he nonchalantly stepped to the side to avoid it. Now having an opening, he fired the de-spell on it to stop it from moving.

when summer opened the door, carefully, she immediately closed it again. through the little gap between the doors she had seen two guards 'ow great' she mumbled 'what do we do now?' and she opened the door again, just a really tiny bit, to look at the guards again. they seemed to be walking back and forth, talking to each other.

 

summer turned to her friend 'do you think jacky and indus are in there? because if they where then they would have come past the guards in some way' summer said but then got an idea, it could be stupid, and it probably was, but it was an idea 'hey flearia, what if I fly past the guards? I can fly quick and soundless, I could just fly through the hallway, stay above them when they turn around and quickly open the door. it's a little piece of basic psycology that everypony Always forgets to look upwards, they don't expect the danger to come from above. do you think that could work? because if I'm past the door then I can open it a little bit so you can see what it looks like from the inside and teleport there without the risk to get stuck inside a wall or something'  summer finished her ramble. she was surprised how well that idea actually sounded, it wasn't even completely foolish. but ofcourse she would wait to do it untill flearia said that it was allright. but summer already felt her wings tingling, she wanted to fly.

Flearia nodded to Summer as she sugested that they'd try to find Indus and Jacky as they exited the room with the flame. taking themself to the door that was straight forward from the first time they entered the room and Summer whent up  to peak inside it.

 

Summer come up with a great idea that would be sure to let both of them past the guards without them noticing.

 

"Ay! That's a great plan Summer! I'll wait here for you to let me a glimse to teleport in!"

Indus watched the sword as it approached him. It was much faster and more agile than the axe and bow, so a simple de-spell blast may miss and, at worst, hit Jacky. He would have to play this smart.

 

Which, thankfully, he was good at.

 

His horn glowed again, and a shimmering blue aura emerged from it, shaping itself in the air into the form of a cutlass sword. A sword made of pure magic.

 

As the enchanted sword swung at him, he swung back, a CLANG sounding in the air as the duel began.

 

If I can pin the blade down by its hilt, he thought as he hopped back and forth to attack and dodge, I can quickly cast the de-spell on it.

summer nodded when she got flearia's approval and then opened the door quietly, just a little bit to see where the guards where. summer saw them comming towards them and hoped that they wouldn't notice that the door was opened a little bit, luckily they where to busy talking to notice.

 

the guards turned around, now facing the other door. summer had to time this right because she had to be above them at the end of the room, she waited untill they where about three quarters away and then lifted off the ground, she flew as close to the ceiling as possible and flew as fast as she could. the timing was perfect, summer was above them just when they turned around. summer flew about two meters above them and for her it looked like the time was passing much too slow, she expected them to look up and notice her but they didn't. the guards where really caught up in their conversation.

 

summer landed on the ground again, as quietly as possible, and opened the door. she opened it as wide as possible so flearia would be able to see as much as possible. she waited untill the guards where halfway through the hallway when she entered the room and closed the door again. this would have given flearia enough time to see what's inside and now it was summers time to look around. the room was big and dark. summer was verry focused on her friend teleporting that she didn't see much else of the room. she walked to the corner of the room for flearia to teleport, because if she would stand in the middle there was the risk of flearia teleporting inside her, and she didn't want that to happen

Hiding behind the almost fully closed door. Flearia looked on as Summer stealthy manouvered herself in the air and keept the two guard ponys unknowing of her presence. Tough the two of them where livly chatting about some freetime event coming up. Aftera while of floating above the guards, Summer finaly reached the door and whent inside. Making sure to let Flearia have a look into it from the small spring at the door she was at, letting her focus on and be able to teleport safly to the next room.

 

She closed the door as the guards where halfway to her while she made herself ready. A small flash come from her horn a d she teleported herself and Irra towards the next room wjere Summer where waiting. She re-apeared just beside the door and looked around. Finding Summer a bit to the side. Probably for letting her teleport in without risking anything. "Great jobb Summer! We got in undetecged. Now, where could the two of them.be?"

Indus continued to fight the living sword, calm and not breaking a sweat. His joining the extracurricular fencing club at university seemed to be paying off.

 

He managed to get locked into a defensive position with the sword - the perfect chance to strike. Without warning, he fired the de-spell at the sword, aiming to take away its enchantment.

summers eyes where now used to the darkness and she could see flearia when she teleported, the room lighted up for one second, just long enough to see jacky and prof on the other side. summers eyes widened and she heard jacky call them 'hi guys, so happy we found you!' summer said and waved. then she saw that prof was busy with fighting an other living sword 'how many of those living weapons are there here?' summer said to herself. at first summer wanted to go to the others and greet them but she decided to stay on their side of the room a little longer, prof looked like he could handle it.

Indus de-spell onces again hit dead centar. And same as with bow, this sword falled down on the ground with loud bang. It was over, evry wepon got destroyed and room was safe onces again.

"Come we dont have much time." Jacky said from other side of room, were she was stending alone - next to the north dore.

Directly as she finished her sentance and looked around, Flearia saw that there had been more living weapons around the room. She still smelled the deamon scent. She also, to both her joy and relief, Indus finishing a spell against the last activ weapon as it fell lifeless to the floor as well as Jacky being in the corner away at a door telling them to hurry.

"There you two are! I was fearing that you had burried yourself or worse when I didn't find you at the entrance!" she said loud enough to let Indus and Jacky to hear, but not the guards behind the door. She trotted up to Indus whileninspecting him closly, having Irra walking beside her in a pony shape the sice of a normal mare, still being a head shorter than Flearia.

After some inspection to se if Indus had split anything at the teleportation she sighed. "Looks like you only whent futher and no other harm! You shouldn't be so reckless" her tone was more of worry then anytging else.

Indus smirked as the sword fell to the ground, and dispersed the spectral weapon. He looked over and saw Summer and Flearia standing there.

"Oh, hello girls," he greeted them nonchalantly, "I hope you weren't waiting too long. I had some business to take care of."

 

He began walking after Jacky to the next room.

"If you walk by the rules all the time, you will never truly live." Jacky said after Flearia called them reckless.

And right after she made couple of steps forwered, and joined Indus in next room.

 

Next room was so bright and full of treshure it looked like it was made from pure gold. This room did not had much of old artifacts, it was more filled with gold and daimonds, and with on key in midle of room thet was made by combinated black and white daimond. This key, unlike other treshure thet was all around the room, was floating in one beam of light in midle of room. By looks of it there were no one there exepct Indus and Jacky.

 

"I would suqest to onli take the key as we will own evrything from this room in less them a week." Jacky said after she walked next to the Indus.

Flearia let out a frustrated snort! Tough to Indus and Jacky's relief. The two had already passed into the next room leaving Summer and Herself left in the room.

 

"It is one thing to live a little, doing some daring things. But using magic like that would be like walking in on a sleeping dragon with a loud Orchestra. Let's follow them so they don't kill thenself while 'Trying to live a little'" Flearia said to Summer and walked into The next room as Irra changed back to her original form and placed herself on her companions head.

 

The next room was filled to the brim with gold and other treasures while in the middle was a magical beam, levitating a key that was heavily ornated with dimonds and onyx.

Indus let the slightest hint of curiosity show in his face as he entered the next room. Gold and other treasures were decorated around a key, floating in a beam of light. He had to admit, the key had his attention.

 

How he'd love to study that key. But he supposed it could wait until Jacky was done with it - patience would prevent tension.

Summer was the last one to enter the room, her mouth fell open when she saw all the treasures, she had never seen so much gold in her entire life! But she was also really carefull with where she stood, the daring doo books always had traps in the treasure rooms and summer didn't want to trigger them. Then summer eye fell on the key, floating in mid air in a beam of light. The key looked really interesting but she was not going to touch it, she was too scared of any more traps. The key looked like it was made out of diamonds of some sort, some where black and some white. Summer knew that flearia knew much about gems 'hey flearia, what are those gems called?' she asked her friend 'and are they magical?' she added.

Jacky looked at others around her and smailed. She then started to rush towered the key and true grin on her face said "I will wait you in tavern. Dont get cought." Right after she said this she jumped towered the key thet was in the veam of light. As sokn as she toched him she started to burn, and in moments decapired from this room of gold.

 

 

But as soon as the key desapired loud alarm started. Our little champion had to think fest now, what would they do to get out from this situation because this rom will be filled with deamon's in maybie a minute.

Flearia had been occupied with looking AT the waste treasures filling the room. Having picked up papers from her saddlebag and noted it all down as she heard fast hoofsteps going towards key. As she looked towards it she could se Jacky with a gein on her muzzle amd yelled about waiting in the tavern just before she touched the key. And when she did there was a flash of fire and it looked like Jacky had deaindigrated. Flearia knew better! That was a fire elemental teleportation! Not as effectiv as arcane ones that miat unicorn who achive it used.

The Alarm whent of! Making a shrieking sound trough the mansion! "What in Equestria!" SCREEECH the Alarm sounded high and shrieking "That pony planed to leave you here from the start!" Flearia glared daggers to the ash pile where Jacky had been! 'SCREEECH' "No way she will get away with thi-" SCREEE-

There was now a chunk of ice covering the alarm in their specific room. Altough the anoying screeeches could be heard from the other rooms! "Buck this! We need to get out of here before any guards comes our way!" she slooped her ears down and tryed to press them together to close out the sound!

summer saw jacky dissapear and heared the alarm go off, she cursed 'I knew something was going to happen' she said angry 'jacky, I'm going to kill you'. then she looked at the door, there where no guards yet but it would be only a matter of time before they would arrive.

 

summer looked at the others 'you guys can teleport away right?' she said 'well, I'll see you at the tavern then, don't kill jakcy yet, I want to do that' she added before the others could answer. then summer spread her wings and flew away, there was no point of being sneeky anymore, she just had to to away as fast as possible.

 

summer flew to the bigger room where indus and jacky had been fighting the living weapons, through the door into the hallway. summer knew where to go, she had to go to the glass roof, she could break it and leave through there. in the hallway there where still guards, but summer flew close to the roof where they couldn't catch her. and when she flew past a strong wind hit the guards and made them fall.

 

summer came in the big hall, the moon was still shining through the glass roof. there where guards in the hall, heading towards the room where they key used to be. but summer send a whirlwind into the hall that blew them away, then the wind hit the roof, making a hole in it just big enough to fit through. summer flew towards the hole, and flew outside. but the hole had not been big enough, she had scraped her wing against the broken glass. now her wing was bleeding a little bit and she had lost some feathers. it hurt but not too much. she landed on the Streets, trying to make her wing stop bleeding because otherwise she would leave a trail leading towards them. she folded her wings and continued on her way to the tavern by feet while mumbling things like 'once I get that annoying little fire pony, she's not going to be happy'
