This is my favorite anime of all time. :3 The animation quality, the music, the story, the characters, the well done grim nature of it all, it all works so well. It really makes me feel like the characters are up against such immense odds and fighting for pure survival. I also like many of the characters, though Mikasa and Levi are lower on my list. 

 

I do have one huge issue, there is no season 2 yet. :| I wish they would not bother with the spin-offs and just continue the story.

Attack on Titan is a fantastic series; definitely one of my favorites. I find it very unique the way some of the characters deal with their fears and personal dilemmas, making them extremely real and relatable, which I think is kind of rare between the majority of shounen anime out there. Not to mention the jaw-dropping animation. I mean, the 3D Maneuver Gear has to be one of the most awesome looking things ever!

They're not doing spin-offs just for the fun of it. They haven't been able to make a season 2 because of delays with the manga. They had to chose between launching the next season with loads of fillers or wait for the writer to make more story arcs to animate. We don't want to see another Bleach where they catch up with the manga and end up making filler episodes until the next story arc is released.

 

Season 2 will probably air this fall.

 

I think AoT is pretty cool. Wouldn't call it one of my favorites but I like it.

I used to be really big on AoT, but I eventually found myself giving up on it. I love the anime, it really is gorgeous and I would definitely love to see season 2, the only problem is that I was reading the manga and keeping up with it for a bit, but to me personally, I felt like the characters were just going around in circles and repeating themselves in every chapter, so I eventually lost interest, but I still think it's pretty awesome.

I genuinely like the anime even though it really isnt my favorite i think it has a good plot and loveable characters! my friends all love Sasha and Eren then again i usually gravitate twards the whole " fate of humanity rests in the hands of these people" survival kind of anime so that probably is why I like it
