I've never been to any cons, but I have met a couple IRL bronies and they were always fun. So I am looking forward to being more social about pony stuff, and this website looks exciting as all hell. Feels like facebook, but for ponies! Now, onto business-- How did you find MLP Forums? I'd been trying to see if I could meet up with people to talk about ponies locally, but only found stuff from 2012. But then, I found this place. And I'd heard mention of it before, but somehow have only now decided to come out from the rock I was under. Tell us a Brony story? Okay, so, once upon a time this dude I knew showed me an excessively funny PMV. I decided to give the show a chance, and I loved it immediately. With its colors, cuteness, and upbeat music, it was such a breath of fresh air compared to what I'd been seeing on the internet before! At the time, I was mostly watching House, Top Gear, Gamegrumps, and some typical mainstream satire things like South Park and Family Guy. I definitely adopted it as my secret girly hobby. So much of what I did was focused on being as masculine and imposing as possible - programming classes, competitive gaming, being an edgy stoner... but I always came back to this whenever I needed a lift, or in other words, when I needed to stop pretending that it's the apocalypse and that everything's shit. Nowadays it's not such a secret that I enjoy ponying anymore, so much as a personality quirk that people around me don't tend to notice. But, eh; could be worse. Favorite mane 6 pony? Applejack is best pony, but Pinkie Pie also my favorite. Anyway, I was up late last night writing on my profile, but looking back on it I've realized that I haven't really said what I talk the most about, so... things like being a reformed stonerbro, writing, tech, and food. I talk about a lot of things in general, though I don't typically have the time to check out the latest hot things, and I guess that makes me a bit basic. Recently I've been a big fan of LOE and fimfiction.net. Anyway, brownie point for ya!
