Most of us know what Ponies the Anthology series is. It's a mostly lighthearted compilation of clips created by many people in the brony community. [sFM Ponies] Doors is a parody of "Doors" an original animation of a stick figure walking through multiple doors, both feature a variety of clips by different creators.

 

I can understand why Anthology got taken down as it has tons of clips from the original show, but Doors feels kinda innocent. What do you guys think?

Well, I don't really understand this stuff, and correct me if I'm wrong but...

 

1. Ponies the anthology used content from the show, yes, but the stuff they made was transformative. It gave an entire new meaning to each clip; new, original content. I think it's kinda the same thing as let's plays and reactions.

 

2. Not sure why doors was removed. I find it hard to believe that higher ups have a problem with SFM ponies. If it has to do with the music, be aware that doors is based off a series of 4 animations also called 'doors' on YouTube ( which you guys should check out ), which by the way, has NOT been taken down.

With how insane the copyright system on YouTube has been lately, this doesn't surprise me much. It might have even been a false claim by a company that has nothing to do with MLP that made the claim itself, this has been happening lately too.
