Theory EQG4 Theory: Friendship Necklaces/Braclets that become the elements of harmony

Okay so we know that Equestria Girls 4 Legends of Everfree is going to be a Summer Camp story. Now knowing that all 7 of our girls are going to go let's go down the list of things that are done at a summer camp

 

making s'mores

 

camping out in tents

 

arts and crafts...and i'll stop you right there.

 

Arts and crafts; now we are going into what is assumed to be a mirror of the Everfree Forest...and in Equestria where we're the elements of harmony originally found in the tree of harmony? THE EVERFREE FOREST! Coincidence? I THINK NOT!

 

That in mind I believe when the girls go to camp they'll either stumble upon the human world incarnation of the tree or will create the elements of harmony by making friendship necklaces or bracelets for each other that each match their cutie marks and they'll have to use that to save the camp from being torn down or whatever.

 

What do you all think? Possible or not? Post your theories, but i really think I'm onto something here

My theory is that they will meet an evil magical force in the forest. Since the introduction of magic brought upon by Princess Twilight's crown, another magical element was brought into the human world and now it controls the everfree forest.

I can see this happening. I think there's more to the plot of this film than "The Humane 7 go to summer camp and have to save it from closing", that they aren't telling us yet.

Interesting... if the tree of harmony is in the human world Everfree forest I can see a big problem happening there and they need its power to destroy whatever it is or maybe even another new totally evil villain like the dazzlings.

I would really like to see this happen.

I am all for seeing more magical girl elements in EQG and this sounds like an interesting concept that I could really get behind.

To be honest I could see them coming up with friendship items for the mane six in a magical girl type scenario like what Twilight's amulet was. But I don't see it happening in this movie, its got too many toys as is coming out and you can bet they'd want to pimp out a focus on amulets or charms for it if so.

Follow the merchandise for knowing whats coming up: Its generally the best indicator of things.

if they do bring back the Dazzling's i imagine they'll still be pretty mad at the rainbooms for their defeat but will slowly befriend them over time...Sonata would be the first to turn of course

I was thinking the exact same thing and so far we've only seen the dolls and a playset or two; nothing in the way of accessories though which is why i think this might be something that happens in some way shape or form, i'm reserving most of my judgements until i see a trailer and since the movie comes out in i believe either in the summer or the fall i can't wait and with all the hype behind season 6? And Flim and Flam own the camp.

Well, while I'd want it, the problem I see is that a magical girls/transformation themed/heavy thing would most likely be about having more accessory and deluxe toy heavy toylines, and they got burnt on that with friendship games.

 

Friendship games sold poorly compared to Rainbow rocks (Toy sale wise), and it was HUGE on the accessories and deluxe toys (Motorcycles, bows and arrows, midnight sparkle, ect.). Now look at what they're doing with legend of the everfree, its very plain: No accessories or deluxe toys, just extra dresses for each character. This, plus the extra focus on the Minis, makes me think that FG turned them off to trying to be too ambitious in the type of toy themes they want to advertise.

Although the characters have *nothing* to do with Equestria, Hasbro seems to think they do.  And since the Mane 6 got rid of their elements, I don't think the Humane 6 will be getting them either

 

However, it was a good idea and you're a pretty creative person.

 

I heard somewhere that it will be a camping theme? But that does not match the promotional posters and whatnot (they look like they will be performing on Broadway, not camping :P) so I think a lot of things are still open.

In Rainbow Rocks the Dazzlings just walk off screen and that's the last we see of them, so they *might* bring them back I guess.
