" Wait- we're in another dimension? How!?" " Ugh, anyways, if we're on a spatial purgatory and there's a mathematical monster chasing us, don't just leave me here!" Heart says, following everyone else

" What is this place anyways? Why are we even here! Why is everything HAPPENING!"

@@crispy fries,

There was silence, then the sound of something large moving down the hall, it sounded like it was coming from the right. There was not the sound of hooves on metal but rather something soft like a manticore paw. The new voice spoke again, closer this time. "Oh no, what the heck is that?" Something seemed off to Redwood.

"You were accidentally collected as part of an inter-dimensional gateway test, we were about to test the return gate before 079 took control of the facility." Heart reached the door at the end of the second hall where the others would have turned to enter the large room before the walkway. The door had a keycard reader on it.

'This is just gettin' worse and worse,' Redwood thought to herself.

She readied her pipe and got into a fighting stance. Her eyes darted around the dark room in search of whatever had made the sound. The only Redwood could be sure about was that there was something in the room with her, and it wasn't a pony.

Gale felt a shiver go down her spine as she watched the statue. The thing didn't seem to be looking at her, so there was a chance that she would be able to get by. "Time to go." She thought, before quickly getting into the elevator and noticed the other door. Out of curiosity, she went through and looked around the area.

@@crispy fries,

The creature slowly came into view from the opening on the right side of the hall. It looked vaguely like a larger version of the dragon she had met a few minutes ago, but with far more teeth. each of the four limbs had three long claws and a sort of opposable digit like a griffon. Its skin was a deep red like blood and it was covered with black spots. It looked both ways down the hall before speaking again. "Hello? Is anyone there?"

The walls of his cell shared the same shade of color that the stallion wore on his body: Grey.

Arrowhead lifted his hoof against the wall and proceeded to sit down on the bed. The stallion had no idea what time it was, nor how long it has been ever since the lights flickered off. He looked towards the metallic barrier between his room and the outside world. The door's electric locks seemed to be disabled due to the power outage, but it was best to stay here. The others told him to stay inside the cell at all times, and he didn't want to see what happens to those who disobey them. Arrowhead knew that they would fix whatever situation they were having, and life would go back to normal.

Whatever normal was.

His ears' perked up at the sound of a voice. It was faint, and if he was a small distance farther it would have never existed to him, but he heard it. A scream.

Some sort of drive, curiosity or anxiety, or possibly a mixture of the two, drove him to open the metal door and exit his cell.

Copper didn't know what to do.  He had to do something, so he galloped to the corner of the hallway, hoping for an escape route.  He hoped nothing bad could go from this, and to be honest, he was scared for his life.  He didn't know what else to do now that he turned the corner.

@@Drago Ryder,

Pink followed the dragon closely. It obviously spoke equestrian, so it was probably from the same universe, or just a freakishly similar one. Common goals  were good. Very good. The fluffy pony walked rear-first as she followed the dragon, keeping the statue and all other areas of the facility in sight. Figuring to have a name she could call for if need be, she spoke up, not turning around.

"My name is Pink Lemonade- what's yours?"

The card is sitting on the ground in the corner that you turned to get to that card scanner that I'm sure appreciates the affection. The creature turned to face her directly when she swore, and shifted to a more aggressive stance as the sounds of her hoofsteps on the metal approached. It seemed to almost be smiling. @@crispy fries,

As she ran deeper into what was becoming clear to be a storage area the sound of her hooves on the metal floor made it especially easy for the creature to track her despite being dazed. The room was large and rectangular, with many metal boxes piled making it more of a maze to traverse. Along the far wall from the elevator she had exited she noticed a doorway in it as well as a passage further down. Maybe there was another elevator she could get to. What's worse, she noticed there was another creature down here, also attracted to the sound of her hoof steps.

As soon as the door closed in front of the statue there was the sound of glass breaking. A few moments later the door Shadow had closed opened again. It seemed the creature looking at itself did not freeze it in place, they'd have to keep moving if they wanted to stay ahead of the creature.

Copper heard glass breaking from his running.  That didn't sound good.  He ran back to the group in front of the elevator, assuming it was subject 179.  He had enough of the creature, and he knew only one way to finish the subject, even if it meant costing his life.  He appeared right in front of the door he came through, and started to charge his Spin Dash quickly, causing an aura to appear around him.  Once finished, he charged up again, this time causing the aura to dim itself.  He charged again, now causing small sparks of electricity to surround him.  He had three charges left in him, so he used them, finally having basically lightning coming from him, yet it wasn't that loud.  He looked at the group.

"All of you need to get out of this area right now.  As soon as I unleash this, lightning will be coming out of behind me.  I know I'm risking my life for this, but it's the only shot we've got at taking down Subject 179."  He then waited for his time to strike.

The right room seemed to be a basic science room with computers on the left wall. One of the thick windows separating the science from the test had been shattered, indicating something strong had been through here. The vents seemed to follow the same paths as the hallways. It was surprisingly quiet in the vents, evidence that the facility was no longer circulating air, they would be fine for a few days but after that the air would no longer support life. The vents went left and right from where she was.

@@DwhitetheGamer,

The statue did not seem to mind what Copper was doing, it moved very slowly, every split second that Copper was not looking at it it shifted ever so slowly towards the door button. It had a plan, that was clear.

@@crispy fries,

As she approached the doorway she found it was an empty elevator shaft that led down but not up, there was no visible way to safely use the shaft without the elevator as even the cords were missing. She managed to be quiet enough that the creatures had lost track of her, but they were still wary of her presence and would attack if they got close enough to her.
