Phanact 333 March 27, 2016 Author Share March 27, 2016 Yeah...it's why I'm probably just gonna settle for a WRX Sti or an EVO X, which both cars have a lot of potential when it comes to tuning them. Yeh, that's why I went with the Miata. If I went for something more expensive, I'd be broke. Plus, I need an expendable car honestly.
Courageous Thunder Dash 7,824 March 27, 2016 Share March 27, 2016 The Evo X and WRX Sti are both quite roomy if you ask me...I may even buy a used Impreza WRX Sti Hatchback since the hatchback version of the Impreza isn't being produced anymore. Xylosian 140 March 27, 2016 Share March 27, 2016 (edited) is it at least a fun car? But yeah they look hella expensive Oh yea it's a fun car alright. It's cheaper than some SUVs out there if you don't get the limited edition which doesn't add much, it's more or of a marketing scheme if anything. They give me a different pair of tires whoo, only worth a couple thousand more, come on now. Edited March 27, 2016 by Xylosian
Twilight Dirac 721 March 29, 2016 Share March 29, 2016 I just replaced my aging 1997 Chevy Cavalier with a 2016 Ford Mustang. The new Mustang is a really nice car and wasn't much more expensive than a Corolla, and is pony themed to boot! The Cavalier was in such bad shape I couldn't even pay to dealer to take it, I had to donate it to the horribly misspelled Kars 4 Kids, who will apparently take anything.

I tell people I'm not a fan of Ford, but those mustangs do look nice and if I were to buy an American car, it'd probably be a Ford. Hell I own a Mazda now... I'm just not a fan of the idea of putting a small four cylinder into those big cars. They're supposed to have big v8's in my mind. Small convertibles deserve 4 cylinders. But still, not much more than a Corolla, I'd rather the Mustang too!

Mustangs are actually V6 standard, the turbo-charged 4 cylinder is just an optional upgrade which I didn't take because I share your concerns. If you want to throw down some serious cash, you can also get a V8 but now you looking at paying at least 10k more than a Corolla. Yeah, I mean even with a v6 there are cooler looking cars with more power for cheaper in my mind. (Hyundai Genesis coupe for example)... But yeah now that I have a miata I'm happy with my car ^^ RWD is the bomb

My landlady owns a 1964 Mustang that's been sitting in the garage on our land. She's trying to restore it, it seems. She thinks its worth a lot but at this point there's really no working parts left.
