Would this be PC(Pony Correct)?

This seemed to be the most appropriate place to ask this question. If not please direct me to the correct place.

 

I am currently writing a fanfic and I have come across a phrasing I was originally going to use, but I am not sure if it would be something a pony would say. The phrase is, "in her arms." Since ponies have four legs and no arms I didn't know if this would be an acceptable phrase for ponies to use. I would appreciate any help. Thanks.

I've come across this dilemma myself. I tended to use "forelegs" a lot to describe arms but it won't work in your scenario. Maybe "in her hooves" would be the closest?

I think it would sound better if it was "in her hooves" even though that would be more similar to "in her hands". "Arms" doesn't really work in my opinion.

Forelegs is the best answer, there are so such things as arms when it comes to ponies.

Just remember one thing about any language and you will be fine, and that is that if it sounds right it's right even if it doesn't make sense
