I say do what you like, and let nobody put you down for it. it's not really a collection, and I never thought in a million years I would ever purchase or even consider liking MLP! but on my last deployment i was in Australia, and a little girl gave me this patch...

 

for my service. I thought it was sweet so I kept it. Looking at the patch at night, I felt something.I don't know what it was. Fluttershy was the first pony I really liked. then watching the show I still felt weird and still do from time to time. but eventually bought these two adorable friends!!!! and feel safer with them both at night when the wind screams, and the house is silent

and always keep Fluttershy with me at all times

In general, anything that's reasonably show-accurate. The Funko figures are probably my favorite.

My collection isn't huge but it is sizable. In my collection I have the following: All the available funkos except Luna and Celestia, Four T-shirts from welovefine.com, seven 4DE plushies, the main six EQG mini figures, a target exclusive power ponies set and four lunchboxes.

My favorite merch is probably the Funko vinyls and the EQG mini figures.

While I don't purchase anywhere near as many things as I did before, mainly because I have a lot of stuff now, I do love having pony merch. The whole concept of surrounding yourself with something that makes you happy, that is a good idea in my book. 

 

My favorite kind of merch in this case are posters. Posters bring so much color and life to the room, especially silk ones. :3 I have a decently sized collection for what it's worth. A bunch of plushies, posters, collectible cards, figures, all sorts of stuff. My favorite thing in my collection is my Enterplay Twilight Sparkle Card that is signed by Tara Strong. I won that in the contest dealio and apparently, the odds of winning one of those was like, 1 in 7000. XD That will never happen again that is for sure.

What is your favourite type of pony merch?   When it comes out, I think Guardians of Harmony will be my favorite MLP toy line. That's when I'll really start collecting.

I quite like MLP based merch, however with that said, I also really like merchandise in general and seem to have somewhat of a habit to want to collect figures and whatnot of things I really like.

 

I've got an ok collection. I had a post somewhere on here on what all I had a few years back, but I don't remember exactly where and with it being so old I'm sure it's been updated at least a small bit. Either way, off the top of my head I do remember that I about:

1. 60+ blind bag (I usually collect only the iterations of the Mane 6 from each wave. I'd have a lot more if I took in randoms or wanted to get all of every wave. There's also a toys r us set I have, not sure if that was included in that totol or naw),
2. iirc a small thing of maybe 100+ of the cards (idk if they even make those still, tbh lmfao),
3. 5 tins (Luna, Rarity, Flutters, Derpy, and a Vinyl) 
4. 4 plushies
5. 3 wrist bands
6. 1 set of two brushables
7. 1 brushable of Dashie in the evil wonderbolts costume (I forget what they were actually called)
8. a slap bracelet
9. 2 MLP ornaments (one Pinkie Pie and one Fluttershy ball)
10. 3 WeLoveFine bags that have MLP ponies on them
11. 11 Funko figures (Pinkie, Derpy, Twilight, Trixie, Vinyl, Octavia, Flutters, Daring Doo, Lyra, Rarity, Sweetie Belle, and Cadance)
12. the Future Twilight figure from WeLoveFine
13. the Trixie figure from WeLoveFine
14. a custom made Pinkie Pie in her Galloping Gala dress I got from BC one year
15. iirc, there's a poster of one of the old seasons with all the chararcters
16. a Lyra print I never got framed
17. A Derpy backpack that can reverse into Rainbow Dash, maybe like
18. 8 buttons I think (the ones you pin onto things)
19. a Derpy mailbag (for laptops and other such things)
20. a MLP stocking I happened to find
21. some odd number of comics (both, minis and regulars. Not many of them all together though, maybe 7 total)
22. about 10 McDonald's based toys
23. 2 glasses. One's an regular glass with AJ's cutiemark and the other is a shot glass with Derpy's cutiemark
24. 1 plastic cup with the Mane 6 on it
25. I do have the DVD of like, season one around  here
26. I had a flat bill cap that had the whole "friendship is magic" saying on it, but im not sure where it is now, and then

Yes, most of the blind bags are on their side. I sleep there. They kinda die whenever I literally plummet into bed or so much as accidentally bump it while lying down.

 

 

And that should be all of my crap.

I haven't actually bought too much as of late in pony. Well, the same for anime too, actually. I've just not been worrying about adding to either of them for whatever reason. I may start doing blind bags and finish off my Funko figures while also starting up the Pop! figures and the Funko Mystery Minis. As late as I am on that.

Oh, and if it wasn't obvious by the mass amount of them, figures are by far my favorite type of thing to collect. Plushies are nice and all, but something about figures just stands out to me a bit more.

 

My powerlevel might be a tad too high. >.>

1-Yes

2-Comics and books, but I unexpectedly got a fairly big toy collection by my standards

I am a teenager and before i told my parents that i liked the show, i really wanted some pony stuff.

I eventually told them, and have gotten lots of stuff since then.

Just remember, no matter what anypony tells you, you should like what you want to like. Nopony has any right to change that
