A forced smile came to Bytes face with that as well as a bead of sweat running down the side of his face. "Why. Why would you ask that you idiot! Of all the things you could have asked, why that!!" Byte internally screamed at himself.

''Aye, captain it is indeed. I am glad ye ask such a question and it is a story I am proud to tell.'' Caramel said with a wide grin as she put a hoof around Byte's shoulder. ''It all started when I was a young filly...'' she said teasingly. ''In all seriousness, it was a name I chose for myself when I was sailing the great seas and wild oceans of Equestria and the beyond. Though I suppose that name doesn't apply anymore since my ship was taken into custody. Just call me Caramel.'' she said with a friendly smile. ''And your name is Mega Bite yes? Strange name. I haven't heard that before. Your parents must have been interesting ponies.''

Byte tensed up as Caramel placed her hoof around his shoulder, but relaxed as she told her tale.  "No, nothing to special" Byte responded to her question. "Although, if you told them that, they'd argue like hell with you. My mother use to be a university teacher in history of equsetria at Manehatten University, whilst my dad worked as a weather pony, because he is a pegasus. However, he took a early retirement when he sold the stocks he had bought a few years prior and went into renovating and selling on properties to maintain the wealth they 'earned'." Buzz blinked a few times. "I'm starting to drag on now, aren't I?" He face hoofed. "I'm sorry"

"Well, introductions are nice and all but I'm curious when we plan to head off myself." Amber gave Scarlett a small smile, looking around the market at the busy traders and bustling crowds. "While the atmosphere of the market is certainly....vibrant, I do feel like it attracts a certain type of crowd-" With a slight nod of her head over to the left, she gestured towards the mare who seemed to continually flirt with the two stallions nearby, at a rather loud volume too. 

 

"Oh, that wasn't the market. That was me. I invited her to come with us."

 

Solar smirked and gave her fiery tail a flick. "I know, and I'm still thankful for my choice booty, mom. I'll make sure to keep the family tradition alive somehow."

 

Choice booty oh my god.

 

Amber giggled. "Well, yes, I guess she has that much going on for her. Still seems like the most peculiar place to try and hook up but who am I to judge?" She rolled her eyes and re-adjusted her small ebony chestplate. "But as I say, I'm ready to go whenever you ponies are. I haven't been camping...well, ever." Amber smiled softy.

 

"Well, this should be interesting. Or not. We're going to have a perfectly normal camping trip. No space ships this time."

 

As soon as Cupid was done from pulling Mega Byte, he realized that he didn't explained who the other pony was, so he just laughed and got him up.

"Yeah, I forgot to say it. Mega Byte, this is Captain Caramel. I just met her 5 minutes ago, but she is cool."

As soon as he said that, he interrupted Caramel for a second to present her to him

"Captain Caramel, this is Mega Byte. I just met him 5 minutes ago, but he is cool."

When the presentations were over, he just smiled and just gave them time to present each other properly, all while just smiling and moving his nose around.

 

Well, he tried.

Tyra slowly blinked as she tried to process whatever in Tartarus Scarlett could possibly mean.

 

"Equestria, but not Equestria?" She repeated. "Why must mainlanders speak in such riddles?!" She threw up her forelegs with a look of pure 'What the actual hell' on her face.

"Well, I'm sure it'll be way cleaner this time," she assured her, sealing it with a little peck on the cheek, "Besides, now we'll both have somepony to camp with, eh?"

 

 

"This country is called Equestria, and so is the planet."

 

"Aaaaah!" Tyra nodded in understanding, and then tilted her head again. "Wat."

"Someone tell me you heard the same thing I did. I need to know if I've finally gone crazy. Is Scarlett actually not being secretive and cryptic? I'm a little disappointed if I'm honest. I would have liked the surprise. Never the less, a camping trip up to the Griffon kingdom will be a nice treat. So let me extend my gratitude for allowing me to come along. So a unspecified time away in the Griffon kingdom, with Scarlett and all my other friends and some new faces, I wonder if normal is even in the question." Saying that last part slightly under his breath as he flicked his ears around, taking final note of everything. 'No matter how this time turns out, I am definitely writing some of this down. Someone needs to keep a log after all.'

At least, I remember that they were, gigantic... or is that just... because I was a filly.'' she said, mumbling the last bit to herself as she got distracted in her own thoughts.

 

''Anyway!'' she said, excited. ''I look forward to camping with ye lovely ponies. You all seem like nice lads.'' she said cheery.

 

''When is the boat leaving? Or are we going by train?'' she said, booping Scarlett's nose again as a way of getting her attention.

Wind goddess. Caramel is just as adorable ignorant as ever before. Though still, you can't beat the experience of the open seas on a real ship.
