So because Funko has ceased production on their mlp vinyl figures (there is a petition to bring them back), can anyone see the brony fandom getting Hasbro to work with them and getting another company to produce vinyl ponies, with the high be quality design that the best of brony made-merch can offer, as a trade-off? Or can the Bronies offer Funko-sized vinyls (and mystery minis, and POP'S) on their own (with WLF)?

it's more probable that a brony will start making that stuff. you can't exaclty expect mlp merch to be there forever. stuff stops. sad fate, but it's true xc

I saw this post and immediately ordered the Daring Do vinyl I've had my eye on.

 

And no, I don't see Hasbro working with the fandom. But it would be cool if they did.

If Hasbro feels like it could get a decent return/profit, then of course they would. If they're ceasing production due to loss of revenue, then nope.

If Hasbro did work with bronies, we'd have the most amazing merchandise.

But considering Hasbro's views on bronies and rarely ever even mentioning them, I doubt anything like this would be possible.

Oh no! They have? I just recently bought one and now I want more! Ughhhh

 

 I hope they do, I love them, they're so cute. They're the only show accurate toys I've seen that are reasonably priced.

Hasbo has teamed with bronies.  Shapeways and Hasbro both work together to make 3D printed ponies

There's also a new toy line coming out, Guardians of Harmony, which are like pony action figures. They're more show accurate than the normal brushable toys, and made by Hasbro itself. It is a shame about Funko, tho. I've been collecting them ever since the first release of Rainbow and Derpy. Funko may be more or less done with pony (not completely - the still have the pony moji things), but it looks like GoH can fill that gap.

I had better do the same thing before long.  Already got my one must-have Funko figure (Rainbow Dash) months before I started watching the show in earnest.
