Could Flurry Heart end up affecting Cadance and Shining Armor's personalities?

Don't get me wrong, I like Flurry Heart. But could parenthood end up affecting Shining Armor and Cadance's personalities or am i just being paranoid? P.S, i do NOT wanna hear anything about Chrysalis either kidnapping Flurry Heart or being Flurry Heart in disguise. Those theories are getting REALLY annoying.

Shining Armor and Cadence apparently are the representatives for love in the entire show, given the Crystal heart and all. I think their relationship will be fine, now that Flurry isn't blowing the world up with her magic.

Well, I don't really know how it could affect their personalities really. Maybe they will become more...parently? That seems a bit obvious.

Before having Flurry Heart, Shining Armor and Cadance's responsibilities were to govern the Crystal Empire. Now with their new baby, they now have parental responsibilities on top of ruling over the Crystal Empire. The stress may affect their personalities but in return I think that's either going to be good or bad. That's the obstacle they have to overcome in being parents and to ultimately test their love for Flurry and the Crystal Empire.

I think Flurry Heart will only add bits of stress, not so much affect their personalities unless something traumatic happens to their baby or themselves. Maybe they'll become more protective once she gets older or more strict.

To be perfectly honest, I hope so. Both Shining and Cadence have almost no character development anyway, so almost anything could be incorporated into their personalities. And this is the perfect opportunity for Cadence to break out of her "perfect pink princess" image and show some real personality.

honestly? name ONE point where the things that happened to shining armor and cadance actually had any impact on them. they NEVER changed, they always stayed the same, and their behaviour won't change the least. granted, shining armor was shown to be under great stress in "The Crystalling", but cadance still was that perfect, flawless princess she always was. in the comic-arc "Siege of the Crystal Empire", there was a hint that cadance could actually have an internal conflict, but I hardly doubt that they will ever touch on that in the future.

 

I prophesy this: they will, of course, protect their daughter when she's in danger in the season's finale (because this WILL be the plot), but the characters themselves will never change. I COULD always be wrong, of course, but in that case, I'm pretty sure that I'll be right.
