Redeeming antagonists.

I personally don't mind reformations, in general I tend to like the characters more after them. That said, we've already had Luna, Sunset, Discord, Starlight, Gilda, Trixie, and Diamond Tiara all reformed in the show. I do think the reformation's need a bit of a break for now, have a few villains and antagonists that don't change their ways, and then if the show goes on long enough I wouldn't mind seeing some again.

Twilight is best pony.

Why hello MLPForums! What have ya been up to?

It's a good message to demonstrate we should try reforming the misguided, for they may yet become a force for good. Everyone deserves a second chance. My only problem is when it happens too quickly. It's unrealistic to expect a lifestyle change in a mere day.

...and it'd be nice if they admitted some people are simply beyond redemption. Especially by virtue of their own will.

This!

Plus, I don't like how quickly and easily other ponies accept the antagonists' reformations. I mean, come on. It takes time to gain other people's trust... Giving someone a second chance doesn't mean that you unconditionally put your faith in them, right?

Or maybe I just suck at giving people second chances...  :scots:

Well, it is a kids show. Of course it is going to contain the moral "everyone can change and you should give everyone a second chance". I quite like it, actually.

Getting rather annoying at this point. Almost every single villain has been reformed.
