What should the villan be like?

I really hope it's a highly meanecing and maybe sadistic creature (heard it's an Alicorn), on the level of Bill Cipher or Claude Frollo or Ursla. And of course he has to have an epic song.

 

They should sty away from the overly-silly villain archetype (someone to contradict Discord, except even more than Tirek did).

Based on one of the leaked sony e-mails, star swirl is in the movie, but not as a villain (He's the one, according to the e-mail, that tells the sisters that Cosmos has returned).

So, assuming they haven't changed the plot TOO much, I doubt they'll use starswirl as the villain.

The Big Bad should be a long-lost Sith Lord with epic martial arts skills, a Death Star, and a shielded control ship that spawns infinite stormtroopers. He NEEDS to provide a final battle more epic than the entire Avengers movie and all four Equestria Girls films.

But as long as he is in the movie, I will be fine with finally seeing him anyways.

I wouldn't be so sure if Cosmos is the main villain now that they've changed the plot from alicorns to sea ponies . Anyway, I wouldn't be too excited if the villain is a silly jester like Discord, the villain needs to be more menacing. Sure, I'll be fine if the baddie has some funny moments here and there, but it should be primarily dark and menacing

He should be able to out smart the heroes at their finest! Don't make the heroes weaker, don't just give the villain ultimate powers, make him smarter then the heroes.
