How would you change the finale?

Like it has been said, for it to be longer so a few parts weren't as rushed as they were but they did the best they could with the time they had.

They made Celestia look like a weakling who can't even protect her subjects. She should've been the one to defeat Chrysalis, OR at the very LEAST helped hold off the changeling minions. Her royal guards were completely lame too. Trained guards should be able to hold their own against invaders. Royal guards should been even fiercer. Yet, they were all defeated while untrained ponies wiped the floor with them. It's hard to swallow. Also, the fact that Twi's BFFs and brother didn't believe in her bothered me. They've spent 2 seasons learning about friendship, but in the end it's like they haven't learned a thing.

I'd add 5 or 10 minutes to "part 2".

That would have been enough.

I would have made the real Cadence appear first so when she get's kidnapped everyone would easily tell that's something is wrong when she started acting like a douche (when the fake one comes in).

 

And also get to know her better, I still feel her character was rushed a bit.

I would've liked a longer fight scene between Chrysalis and Celestia. Also, Luna needed more appearances, so they gave her like 1:00 minutes total in screen time? Do they not like her or something? Also, I would've liked Chrysalis to burn instead of getting flung away.

 

That Fight Scene Felt A Little Like A Fight You'd See In Harry Potter, It Was Definitely To Easy A Defeat, And What About The Elements Of Harmony? I Thought They Were Going To Use Them, But They Didn't I Loved The Songs Tho

Finally, that final song. Didn't dislike it, but I thought it could be a little better, perhaps up to par with the other two in the episode. And don't get me wrong here -- usually, I quite enjoy what Daniel Ingram puts together. This one just didn't sit with me as well.

I loved that song. Don't get me wrong. I loved the other two more, especially BBBFF for own reasons but I thought it was fantastic. It really had this cheery vibe to it and was a great finish for the season. I

Again, I said in my post that I didn't dislike it! It's not a bad song, I just didn't find it up to par with the other two in the finale, which is why I think I give it a slightly lukewarm reception in comparison.

Trollestia vs Crysalis should have been longer, more varied, and been a major part of the background. Also, the love spell thing should stay the same, but instead of "Team Rocket Blasting Off Again," the writers should have had an extended battle scene where the explosion took away the changeling's powers and the military actually fought to get the mane six to the Elements of Harmony. Then end it with the Elements being used to force the changelings out of the city. Then have the final blast of rainbows throw out Crysalis literally seconds before she gives Celestia a killing blow.

 

TL;DR love and friendship win over all, bigger battle scene, Celestia isn't useless.

Seriously though, I think the way Chrysalis was defeated seemed a bit odd. She feeds on love to grow stronger but then a big blast of it beats her and her army? I also wish the mane six could have participated a bit more with it. Twilight saved Cadence but then that was it. I was hoping to see each of them help in their own way.
