Ninjaed 526 November 6, 2016 Share November 6, 2016 Clopping aside: "tolerate" is a dirty word. there is nothing good about it. at its best, it is useless, and at its worse it is actively bad. how many of you guys would feel the love if someone said "I tolerate you"? tolerating someone's addiction is a dick move that shows you don't care. If you love someone, you help them through the broken parts of themselves. Never considered that before, but you're actually right... "I tolerate you" vs "I respect you". "I tolerate your opinions" vs "I respect your opinions". Huh... Guess being tolerant is like saying "I don't like it, but I'll let it slide". In that case, MLP isn't a message about tolerance, but about respect. And the question becomes "are the bronies too respectful?"... I think no one in their right mind would go and say "yes, they're too respectful, too much respect is bad". You can't respect bad deeds after all.

I once tolerated a friend's drug habit, while he was on probation, and as a result, there were major consequences. he ended up going back to jail, there was major property damage, and great loss of trust. Not saying this was my fault, but I absolutely enabled his destructive path. Send me pictures of ponies in hoodies

I made a mistake, and I learned from it. Now I hope people wiser than myself can learn from the story, and not make the mistake. heavens-champion 1,905 November 7, 2016 Share November 7, 2016 Most members of the fandom of completely intolerant of crossovers with Sonic the Hedgehog, that's for sure. Then again, that's what happens when the Sonic fandom is severely divided and leaves a black mark on its reputation.

I feel like hypocrites get a bad rap, and that half of them are alright. A hypocrite has a high standard, higher than they are able to achieve. having a standard to strive for, even if you can't get there is honorable and reasonable. Being a hypocrite is only a problem is you have a higher standard for yourself that you can achieve AND you you act like you have achieved it. KatonRyu 1,033 November 8, 2016 Share November 8, 2016 There are plenty of things I don't tolerate, nor even accept as actual things. Being a brony does not magically transform a person into a transcended being, and people who do actually believe that are among the things I don't really tolerate.

Hypocrite is a word that evolved out of the old word that literally meant "Actor". A hypocrite is... for example, Starlight brainwashing ponies that Cutie Marks are Evil and you should give yours up for equality, but she kept hers and the benefits Cutie Marks bring. https://mlpforums.com/topic/158860-emerald-stars-crazy-adventure/- My Fanfic, featuring my OC Emerald Star and his Stand, Grey Justice. Taking Starlight's example, her ideology is a bad example since she truly believed in it and only kept her own to take cutie marks from others. A better example would be when she tells Twilight she doesn't know anything about her, when Starlight herself doesn't know a thing about Twilight. Now that is being an hypocrite. darkwingmare 1,321 November 10, 2016 Share November 10, 2016 Whaa-??? No, most "bronies" or people in general... Have very strong opinions about things. Tolerance can only take you so far... I wish more people were more tolerant. That would've been nice. But in reality, people think too strongly about everything that it sort of blurs out the whole tolerance thing. I'm trying to be as tolerant as I ever could have been and even I can't tolerate everything. On the other hand, if we DID tolerant everything, there would be a lot of bad things going on in the world. More than it is already. Protests and opinions has lead us to where we are today, while tolerance has helped us to understand each other more on the way. There needs to be some kind of balance between the two to make it feel just right. Anyway, about cloppers... I thought it was really weird at first, too. I mean, I had never thought that I'd find porn of animated ponies on tumblr the first thing I did. However, I've learned to just accept it the way it is. We can't really change what cloppers feel for what they do. Much like we can't change how a person falls in love. It falls naturally what attracts you and what doesn't. Feelings are one of the few things that can't be helped. Just let it be that way, there's no use in putting your energy on being negative and angry/sad about something that won't change. “You have brains in your head. You have feet in your shoes. Member Berry 1,217 November 10, 2016 Share November 10, 2016 (edited) Because they won't shut up about it. It would be easier to ignore if they actually kept their fantasies private. But even in this very thread, bronies continue to talk about, for no reason, their cartoon horse fantasies as if it's something normal. It's even more cringe-inducing when members as young as 13 like to tell others who their favorite pony to diddle to is. They practically go around saying, "HELLO, I MASTURBATE TO HORSES" and then develop a victim complex if someone suggests that that kind of behavior is strange. On some pony sites (I'm looking at you, Derpibooru) one cannot even describe horse p0rn with something as simple as the word "ew" without causing a bunch of bronies/gentlesirs to feel oppressed or whatever. And then there are the bronies who think it's "crazy" to not want to diddle cartoon horses all day. But I suppose those ones are the edgy trolls. People are talking about it in this thread because the first post was literally this: I can't tolerate everything. Last time i read the topic about clopshit on this forum. And i discovered that MANY people in this forums are cloppers. I just want to that i'll never tolerate or support clopping. But enough about this. Would you toleraty Everything as an fan of mlp or not? People talk about Trump in threads about Trump. People talk about iPhones in threads about iPhones. People will talk about clopping in a thread about clopping. That's common sense. The only time I've seen clopping images was when I first heard the word and googled it. It's not that in your face.
