What songs and music would suit to fantasy armies battling in the snow?

Hmm...I suppose that'd depend on a lot of other factors, like whether there's wind, what kind of enemies you're fighting---I'm not an expert on these kinds of things, but I know what I like, and I know that whether battle music is fitting depends on a lot of things, and the environment and weather are only a part of it.

 

That being said, having some high notes from a xylophone or bell-like instrument (whether those high notes are part of the melody or background) that have variety but still stay high is typical for ice and snow, since ice and snow bring to mind sparkling light, since ice can refract and reflect light in some very sparkly ways...
