leonbrony17 1,216 December 10, 2016 Share December 10, 2016 In a show which is called Friendship is magic. In my opinion, yes. What do you think about that?

BastementSparkle 20,326 December 10, 2016 Share December 10, 2016 It depends on the pony, probably? Losing your best friend can hurt, losing your husband/wife can hurt, losing your brother/sister can hurt, losing your parent can hurt, etc. Losing anybody, or in this case anypony you care about is going to hurt. I don't think you can really measure how much some specific thing hurts. Don't think so Rainbow Dash didn't seem that perturbed when Gilda walked out on her. Just because we didn't necessarily see it doesn't mean it didn't hurt, we didn't see Gilda really being upset about losing RD until the Griffonstone episode. Twilight is best pony. Why hello MLPForums! What have ya been up to?

silvadel 1,393 December 10, 2016 Share December 10, 2016 I don't think ponies "feel" all that differently from us. If anything though, the fact that a pony is likely to have more friends than a human means they have more of a safety net in the case where they lose a best friend, whereas a human in the same situation might just have the one friend and have no safety net at all and go all pinkie pie party of one. 1 Silvadel, the Pegasus of Insight. cmarston1 5,959 December 10, 2016 Share December 10, 2016 (edited) Well apparently it can excuse having to deal with any sort of responsibility/consequences for major human rights violations, and any other crimes you may have committed. Jeric 46,854 December 10, 2016 Share December 10, 2016 I think that for couples and parents like the Cakes there may be greater emotional pains they could conceive of.
Luminance 2,186 December 22, 2016 Share December 22, 2016 An example would be Moondancer. It was pretty hard for her to loose her best friend Twilight and she felt like she was the only pony she held towards to that very day. She felt so much pain in the fact that Twilight left her and in that she change her ways to never felt that pain ever again so she became a exile, lock-in, bitter, cold and heartless towards friendships as a whole due to the fear of losing another friend like Twilight. It was sadness, fear, guilt and pain she experienced and it hit her hard until Twilight rekindled there broken bond.
Steve Piranha 29,428 December 23, 2016 Share December 23, 2016 Ponies are like us, each of us have a different great pain, thus each pony has a different great pain Sig by Discords
Guest December 23, 2016 Share December 23, 2016 It seemed to be like that for Moondancer and I perfectly understand why it hurts so much. I've lost some good friends over the years too and it hurts as much every time. It depends on the pony though, some of them might not let the end of a friendship hurt them too much while it could break somepony else completely. Scootaloo Is Best Filly 578 December 23, 2016 Share December 23, 2016 I really don't know. I guess it depends on the pony. I can think of four cases where losing a friend affected the other however. 1. Pinkie pie losing her friendship with cranky 2. Twilight losing her friendship with moondaancer and vice versa. 3. Starlight glimmer losing her friendship with sunburst 4. Trixie and Starlight not being friends And this is just off the top of my head. It depends on the pony. Facebook: Josh B.
