ManaMinori 4,149 December 18, 2016 Share December 18, 2016 One thing I haven't seen people complain (much) about is AppleJack's southern accent. So would you guys want Fiesta Flare, a G3 pony with a Columbian accent (who only was seen once in the LadyBug Jamboree) and Puzzlemint, a g3 pony with a British accent, to be central characters in an episode of FiM, who might have to solve a problem with one of the mane 6 acting as mediator? Leave a Whisper 703 December 18, 2016 Share December 18, 2016 Sure, I wouldn't mind. I like North Star Puzzlement and Fiesta Flair.
Jeric 46,884 December 18, 2016 Share December 18, 2016 The show has never had a problem with using international and US domestic accents, so I am not sure what you mean by revived. Season Six alone had a handful. Do I want to see a Columbian accent? Do I want to see a specific prior gen character revived? Sure, if it fits within a good story. Story is king to me.
Silver Letter 1,832 December 18, 2016 Share December 18, 2016 I wish why they would explain why there are regional accents anyway in a world that's more or less united under one rule. GrimGrimoire 4,973 December 18, 2016 Share December 18, 2016 It isn't so much I would want it, so much as it is I would not be bothered by it. I like many of the different accents characters on the show have had, and as long as the story was good would not mind seeing more of it. ~No profound statement needed~

sweetolebob18 728 December 28, 2016 Share December 28, 2016 Silver Letter There used to be more accents. In the USA there was Southern, Western, Mid West, & New York + subvarients of the main accents. It was caused by the people not mingling much. Today, because of TV we have mainly lost all but Mid West. (Listen to some of the old gangster movies from the 1930s or the Beverly Hillbillies if you don't know what I'm talking about). We still have various national accents like English or Australian. Equestria, the tech level is weird & seems to vary from place to place but lots of places don't seem to have TV or radio, so they've still got regional accents
