Rarity needs more Shadow Spade episodes. Anyone else agree?

To me, Rarity Investigates was her best showing. You can argue she was developed more in other episodes, but this was easily her most entertaining episode. And there's no better way to show her generosity than clearing an innocent pony's name. I was surprised they didn't come up with this sooner. Her friends can really benefit more from this in later seasons.

And for anyone who got butthurt over Daring Don't, this is also a good reaffirmation that ponies still have their own fiction they can enjoy. Equestria doesn't need a real Shadow Spade because Rarity practically is Shadow Spade.

I would love to see more Detective Rarity...it really is one of my favorite episodes, and Tabitha does a great job at that noir style narration. I'd die if I saw more Shadow Spade.

Rarity needs to go back to that town and beat up that Bunyip for such a terrible CRIME AGAINST FASHION!

I wouldn't mind an entire RARITY INVESTIGATES! Spin off Series with Rarity going around solving crimes in her... unique way.

Or an episode with her solving a crime that helps set up a season finale.

I feel like Rarity stole Twilight's role as a detective. Far as I'm concerned detective work is more about intelligence, reading books and being somewhat of a nerd on details. Perhaps Twilight and Rarity could work on a case together... though that might not happen as you always need a quirky enthusiastic but not so serious sidekick with the detective (Pinkie or Rainbow Dash for example.)

Well, I've often felt like writing a parody of all the cliché detective stories from the client's point of view. Call it The Mare Tease Falcon & have Spike as the bumbling assistant & Derpy as the client.  The only things stopping me are a lack of both time and talent  :-o

Oh absolutely! Rarity Investigates is easily in my top 10 favorite episodes of all time! It caught me completely off guard on my initial viewing. The framing device was extremely creative. While the story and plot twist was predictable, I could appreciate the journey throughout as it was very entertaining and enjoyable. I really do hope we get another episode like it in the future  .

I feel like Rarity stole Twilight's role as a detective. 

tbh Rarity did the job a lot better. A lot of that is because unlike Mmmystery which was built as a Pinkie Pie episode only for Twilight to do all the real work and ending up making Pinkie look really dumb, Rarity was a Rarity episode through and through and actually gets the job done, with Rainbow doing a better job as the goofy sidekick.
