radiance62 5 January 24, 2017 Share January 24, 2017 Is it just me or does it seem like ponies are very sensitive? I wonder if they would be very very very offended after hearing insults from humans?
Frozen Glow 69 January 24, 2017 Share January 24, 2017 In Griffon the Brush-off we see that they do have trouble dealing with insults be there able to deal
Ganondorf8 11,424 January 24, 2017 Share January 24, 2017 Some ponies, not necessarily Fluttershy as she is usually the best example, can be very sensitive regarding their feelings resulting in them taking insults the wrong way. Other ponies can easily brush off insults without having to resort to insulting and yet others will use insults because it makes them feel good about themselves. GrimGrimoire 4,973 January 24, 2017 Share January 24, 2017 IMO they don't seem anymore offendable than your typical human being. If anything they are pretty much less offendable. e.g. this thread probably offended somebody somewhere (OMG.. you said humans! I'm offended!)... where most ponies would be just like "whatever". ~No profound statement needed~
BlueBrony 388 January 25, 2017 Share January 25, 2017 cursing is certainly different in equestria. "Peeved" appears to be the most offensive of pony curse words. If we actually tried to cuss them out, it wouldn't really make a lot of sense, like a furless bipedal alien muttering vague gibberish. 1 Check out my youtube music channel My OC- Prof. Noble H. Luminance 2,186 January 25, 2017 Share January 25, 2017 If humans ever approach to cute technicolor ponies one day who not only talk but also weld magical power and very first thing we humans do is to insult them? Wow, that's a all time low for the human race then... Besides, the ponies wouldn't care anyway and they would deal with the enemy accordingly to where they needed to go, in Tartarus and please...no reformations. Whirlwind 1,059 January 25, 2017 Share January 25, 2017 I don't know how to answer this one. There are a few ponies who are sensitive, cry, and generally softer than others. Moon Dancer, Fluttershy, and yes! even Shining Armor. But I will let you know this. This is a great theory idea to discuss an average pony's personality "There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends"
Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,930 January 25, 2017 Share January 25, 2017 Everyone reacts to insults differently. Some can brush them off as if they are nothing, others are easily affected by them. I am sure the ponies are no different in this case. Who knows what is said when a pony is angry off screen.

Mast. Equestos/Gigas 340 January 25, 2017 Share January 25, 2017 (edited) Sensitivity is key towards the weak minded. As they can be manipulated easily to do bad things unintentional towards themselves and others around them. Hence, that you must listen to your head more often than your emotions and not care about what people think of you or how they make fun of you. Unless its something that is personal, like they threaten your parents or other members of the family. Then yes, that is understandable. KatonRyu 1,033 February 14, 2017 Share February 14, 2017 Just like with humans, it would depend entirely on the pony. I think most of them can brush off insults, possibly excepting the ones who are very sensitive by nature. It also depends what the source of the insults is. If it's a close friend it'll hit harder (or not at all if it's not meant) than if a stranger does it.
