How would Bronies feel if Faust came back?

Let's suppose Hasbro gave Faust a second chance, but instead of coming back to work in MLP, since it's so far removed from her original vision, they put her to work on rebooting their old franchise "Moon Dreamers". Would we see elements of her scrapped series, "Milky Way and the Galaxy girls", or a magical star horse with Luna's original name of Celene, in this rebooted franchise? How would Bronies react to this new series under Faust's direction?

Assuming she were able to get some of the other talented people from FIM, like Mccrathy involved,  or just other talented individuals involved with the current tv animation in general, I would be willing to give it a chance.

and it would be interesting to see her be able to pull a show that originally had awful reception (like some people (not me) feel g3 was) and make it just as amazing as g4.

I guess im one of the only ones, but i really dont care about Faust´s work.

Sorry if that sounds mean, i have nothing against her, but just because i watch a Movie i like, doesnt mean that i would watch every single Movie that the director made.

 

If i would do that for every single Movie i like, i would watch way to many Stuff and probably a lot of Stuff, that i dont care about.

Only if she would make a new Show, that would fit my interests, i would watch,

For Faust to even consider coming back to work on one of Hasbro's properties, she would want to have complete control of the direction it gets taken in, and not follow what Hasbro deems as its mandate on how it's supposed to work. Also, I'd think she would need to overcome her grievances over what lead to her departure from MLP after season one.

that's all true. It would show maturity on Faust's part if she did come back and bury the hatchet, putting whatever beef she has with Hasbro behind her to work for them again. But I think it's impossible to be given full control. The IP still belongs to Hasbro, so they would have the final say.

But still, it would be nice if Faust and Hasbro could play nice again, on Moon Dreamers, if possible.

I'm less interested in getting Faust back than I am with getting some of the better writers of the show back. A lot of good people vacated last season, and the quality dip was quite apparent. Or perhaps new writers that wont regress characters for plot convenience and employ plots that are so worn thin that you know how the episode was going to end before the end of the first scene.

Honestly; as much as I enjoy the series pilot, her overall quality of writing is suspect, and I remain skeptical that would change if she came back to work on any other Hasbro property. Still; wouldn't hurt to let her have a try. I would be open to at least giving her a chance.

Not thoroughly no, but I assumed since the topic was in sugarcube corner it was about MLP. If it's not then this isn't really the right section for this topic.

while it may not be discusing the series of mlp, its about the Brony community's thoughts of Faust working on another HASBRO iP. I think it fits in Sugarcube.

Milky Way and the galaxy girls, looks alot like the powerpuff girls. figures. But I think since she initially made mlp toward "feminist" I wouldn't want her to come back. MLP  shows  (since she left) has made far toward to the direction where every age and gender would enjoy.

I think considering how she has been acting ever since she left MLP, i seriously would not want to work with Faust ever again, not to mention that she is acting incredibly unprofessional when she is confronted with other ideas. She left Wonder over Yonder after the first season, she left the Medusa movie project and i heard she left some other tv show, all because she has a problem with making compromises, which is something you have to do all the time in the entertainment industry.

 

Yeah, sounds very mean of me. But i never saw why Faust was held on such a high pedestal in the first place. And let's be honest, Season 1, which she supervised, hasn't aged very well.

And that is why I think Faust wouldn't come back. She wants to have that creative control and be able to implement her own ideas without being told what to do by Hasbro. I suppose she could put the past behind her but it wouldn't be easy given that it was quite the falling out she had with them.

only way to do that would be for her to start up her own animation company/ studio, with people who are willing to give her the creative freedoms she desires. But in all honesty, it's been 7 years. If she hasn't already, forgiveness with Hasbro is long overdue. Amending Fences

She left after season one yet left some scripts behind that were incorporated into season two, so it's been about six years since she left after what happened. I don't know if she ever got over what happened but she has been doing well for herself for the most part. Unless the higher-ups at Hasbro were willing to give her the creative freedom she wishes, the chances of Faust coming back are slim to none.
