Is that epic pony war on the horizon?

Something's going to happen. I feel it. Why else would Equestria start accumulating allies from other races, like the yaks, dragons, griffons, Changelings......?
Something's being built up where all these races are going to have to help the ponies fight something big. I can feel it. 
What are your thoughts?

I don't see it. As much as I find the idea interesting and would like to see it, I just don't see them building up to anything that monumental in the confines of this type of show. I see it as them just spreading the magic of friendship among the races of Equestria... and a nod to all the fans who say they want to see more world building. They have shown conflicts before, but something that requires all the races teaming up to beat what magic rainbow powers cannot seems unlikely.

I see them helping the ponies once if the threat is too big for them alone, but otherwise I  don't see a story arc war

Mainly a bunch of unrelated events that involve a group that somehow works in friendship a lot in their daily lives. The friendship with the yaks was a project by Twilight, the dragons were completely coincidental since it mainly involved Spike being called up at the time and they needed to make sure that a more hostile dragon didn't take over, the griffons were just one of many missions the map sent the group on (and the map so far has just seemed more reactionary and wanting to solve issues rather than having a bigger plan for all these locations), and the changelings were just a byproduct of trying to save everyone else from Chrysalis.

I know people keep seeing it ain't likely, I believe it is! If there's a strong villain building up a HUGE army that Equestria can't fight off alone, we might see an epic battle like this in the future!

My dude, not everything is about violence. Positive relations with your neighbours are pretty useful even if you aren't preparing for an upcoming battle. Friends are better than enemies, and although the show won't go into this, it's probably much better for Equestrian trade as well. Easier to import and export goods from countries which don't hate you.

if its happening then my god i hope theres a damn big epic war scene for the finale. Ive been so disappointed with the last 2 seasons' as there hasnt really been much mass threat. I wnat more Crystal War please.

btw I dont count S6 finale as anything to cheer about. I was quite bored with it and Chryssi didnt really do anything apart from look creepy.

I don't know, these events that you have described seem rather unrelated.Trust me, I would love for it to be a reality but to me, it just seems like the Mane 6 doing their usual job -spreading the message of friendship across and the lands beyond it.
