How you became a fan of My Little Pony

I got bored and started watching it one day. I didn't really know what to expect, but I liked it a lot more than I thought I would.

Golly. This sure seems like a nice place. Too bad I suck at socializing. Anyway, I suppose I should introduce myself? People call me Stevie. Well, some people do. I have seven other nicknames too. None really seem to stick, though.

(After typing all this, I realize that I'm just rambling about my life. Feel free to skip this next bit.)

Anyhow, I'm currently going through an existential crisis. Every day feels the same. I'm okay with that, though. I would rather do nothing all day than go to school. I'm a bit of an awkward person, and I have a lot of trouble making friends. Almost all of my friendships have started with me insulting them somehow. I mean, I can actually be a really nice person, but I prefer to be nice anonymously. I have to make myself seem intimidating because otherwise I will be bullied relentlessly. I learned this when I was just relaxing in the park, about to doze off, when some older kids came and threw rocks at me. Then they started poking me. I got really sick of this, so I waited until one of them was about to touch me again, when I suddenly leaped to my feet, looking furious. I already look pretty scary already. No wonder they started screaming and running away. That was mostly because I started sprinting towards them, though. Needless to say, they never bothered me again. There was something strangely satisfying in knowing that people fear me. That probably makes me a bad person. I would never be mean to a person who didn't pick on me, though. I'm not just going to be a pushover anymore. I'm sick and tired of taking everyone's bullshit. (wow this is the edgiest thing i have ever written don't mind me)

(This is where most of the stupid shit ends.)

Well, that was stupid. I should really get on to some important stuff. I like all sorts of things. One of the most private things I am willing to admit is that I absolutely love cheesy romance novels/movies. I also am sad to say that although it ended a year ago, I'm still a huge fan of Homestuck. I'm probably gonna be a Homestuck forever. I love all sorts of music from jazz to classical to rock and everything in between. I also love all sorts of animals, but my favorite animals have to be goats, snow leopards, and cats. I have four pets, although I only really have to take care of Willow, my beautiful cat.

 

 

We also have two dogs, a black lab (Bear) and a chihuahua (Spock). Our last pet is a rabbit named Dave.

 

I have several other unusual interests, too. When I bring them up in front of my friends, they usually look at me like I'm crazy. I can't blame them, though. These include:

 

Juggalo culture, collecting kids meal toys from various fast food restaurants, obscure sodas, Nic Cage movies, disturbing old commercials, awful knockoff brands, satirical art/videos, terribly written fanfiction, joke art, knee socks, conspiracy theories (especially about the Kool Aid Man), irony, and the multiverse theory.

 

Also, I don't like typing formally. i usually just type like this

But I want to make a good impression. Well, I can't really make a good impression when I sound like a psychopath, no matter how I type. In the end, I'm still just an angsty teenager who has no idea how to make it through life.

 

I hope I didn't somehow get everybody to hate me. That would suck. Not too much, though. I could always just leave. Thanks for reading this anyway.

You seem like a cool guy, have just as many pets as me (though I have no rabbit, just 3 dogs and a cat), and you made me curious about Kool Aid man conspiracy theories.

yes of course i do although sometimes i get in way over my head and immediately regret every decision i have ever made in life but i cant escape the depths of fanfic hell i just keep digging a deeper hole for myself

Oh, I know what you mean. Being nice most of the time comes at a price of being bullied, as you basically become an easy target. I know how it goes... Humans generally aren't friendly creatures, that's true and that's sad. At least here, on the internet it's easier to be nice, because nobody can really bully you and you always can just disappear if somebody will be harassing you, so you can be the pony you want to be.
