Yes, I am glad that the show actually gives them a goal then achieves it. That's what I like so much about it, giving each episode a purpose, and making the show progress.

It means they got their cutie marks for crusading, hence similar symbols and colors. But secondarily are good at the image in that image, so I guess Bloom ended up fulfilling her cutie mark in a cutie mark meme lol. It implies YEY crusaders forever. The show is never gonna do something like *and then they split up to get different degrees and can't make time for each other*. Cuz its a happy kids show.

I think tho its fitting. Just whatever happened to that episode when Twi already knew what they were good at? And they look too similar in design, they do need something in common tho but I feel like it is arguably lazy to have same colors, the shields yeah should be the same colors, but the whole marks? Idk. This is a show about friendship tho so, makes sense tying their destinies together. But that makes me think of entities that have one mind and multiple bodies lol. Like they were all blessed by the same eldritch god or something lol. But I was just reading fanfics n stuff so don't mind me for being a little weird about it, I don't normally think this way lol.

The marks are grouped by the shields, but for each there are two other outlines - a star and a note for SB, a pegasus wing and a lightening bolt for scoots, with an apple and a heart for AB.

the second level marks COULD just be what sort of pony they are (star for unicorn/magic, apple for earth, wing for pegasus) but that is still confusing, especially scoots given her apparent flight disability, and doesn't explain the inner marks.

Yes, but I hoped they would get there cutiemarks in seperated episodes during the season. But I'm okay with the way the show did it.

I don't think that would have worked, given the "Team CMC" aspect of the marks.

I do like the star-and-note pair that SB got - because it seems a call-out to Coloratura's mark.

I like them - it is a complex sort of mark, which works at two levels - each pony has her own individual mark, but they also have that group shield thing going on; I can see plenty of future eps where they discover the meaning of their "inner" mark, and also ones where their solidarity as a team is what counts - with both having their marks activate to give a visual cue for this.

But they aren't matching with the ponies designs. A normal cutie mark fits in the design, but these aren't. It's like a cut-and-paste design now.

The very idea of their special talent being helpinh other ponies getting their cutie marks is Ok, but their marks are just poorly designed: they're too similar to each other and just too small compared o other ponies' CMs. Just illegible. Before that episode i had expexted they're all gonna receive cutie marks looking like the CMC symbol:
