Celestia and Luna Series

Anyone else think a Celestia and Luna spin off series would be good?

It would take place before the mane six and around the time Equestria was first founded (Around the time Starswirl was alive).

Having a series like this would give the writers more oppertunity to expand the lore, and we can have more character development/lore on the sisters. This being a 'new' series would also leave some room for slightly more mature themes, due to it not having a solidly established audience.

maybe it would be done like the 90's "kids" craze (Muppet Babies, A pup named Scooby Doo, Tom and Jerry Kids,Baby  Looney Tunes), and have Celly and Luna be children.

I think it'd be awesome to have a series focused on Celestia and Luna in the past. After all, then we could learn some more history about Celestia, Luna, and Equestria itself.

Hasbro is trying an Equestria Girls series in youtube, so maybe they could go for the same route

Well not really a spinoff, but maybe after this show ends with this mane 6, they can focus a season on Celestia's and Luna's past and a season on Starswirl and so on.

Yes, definitely. I would love to see a show with Celestia as one of the main characters.

I think it's a great idea!  We've only gotten like tid bits on the sisters as a whole and who they really are outside the throne and public eyes!   Hell even getting say a mini series of their past would answer a lot of questions that still pop up to this day.   Like them growing up and seeing them deal with being the princess,  or them handling things even in this time frame of the show.

I wanted something like this since the beginning, or at least episodes of the show that got into Celestia and Luna.

However, the show has made too many mistakes with them (especially Princess Celestia), and the damage is too huge to fix.

I wouldn't mind if there was a show with this concept, but I'd rather have it not be in continuity with MLP:FIM.

I wonder if there are enough stories to be told for a serie.
