Well you should definitely go and see the movie! Plus there's also some people like me who will most likely never see the movie in cinemas because of our real life situations.

I am not gonna spoil anything, other than what you have heard is true. There is one particular moment where Twilight does something that I could never see her doing and it was my least favorite part of the movie. It isn't all bad because it at least sets up a legit moment after it, but I still didn't like how she was portrayed at that part.

However, I still think the film is definitely worth seeing for any fan of the series. It is not a perfect film for sure, but it has a lot of fun and a legit sense of adventure. The animation and music are also top notch. I recommend it.

It thankfully is not a long part of the film. It kinda comes and goes, and the movie does move on from that. The rest of the movie is still very much worth seeing, so I wouldn't let this one part stop you from seeing it. I didn't like that part at all but I still overall loved the movie.

Trying not to be TOO spoilery but... she does have at least one occasion where she has a massive Starlight moment, it messes everything up, she gets called on it by the other ponies and it takes them a bit to forgive her.  Ok, so Twi has a history of acting out when she is under stress, but even so... yeah, very unTwi.

Twilight overcomes probably the greatest and most powerful friendship problem in the show. It is fantastic and a major respect to the vision of her character. They do her character perfect justice. Her character is designed to grow and develop. No better way is that done in this movie. It also establishes the unbreakable bond of a group of true persevering friends. Personally I think they represent her character faithfully and to the best effect they really could have in a theatrical film.
